Nice hotel in a good location. The swimming pool isn’t part of the hotel but guests get a big discount to use the pool/gym.

Good location

Our room was clean but very tiny and very dated. Old heater on the wall. Bathroom had minimum and cheap products. View from window was not nice. The lobby and the rest of the hotel was all nice. The staff were not terribly warm and the hotel vibe was a cold atmosphere. Nobody seemed to be enjoying their job and seemed like they wanted to be elsewhere. Breakfast was just alright - not great and we felt not Covid safe. Everybody holding the same serving spoons and holding the bread loaf to slice bread. I did expect freshly made coffee and not a coffee machine. There was only instant decaf for those of us that don’t drink caffeine. We only learned after leaving that there is a pool and spa. Would have been nice if the front desk mentioned this. The hotel is in a very nice location across from the V&A and is quiet. We thought the hotel was overpriced but many of the hotels in London are. So overall nice hotel but not for us.

It is an old four-star hotel. You can feel the creaking of the floor through the carpet. The facilities and hygiene are completely fine. The location is also good. It is close to Natural History, VA Museum, Science Museum, Harrods, Imperial College (very small, not recommended), etc., and it is within walking distance. Their service staff are very friendly and will greet you in London accent. On the first day of breakfast, our child stood next to the coffee machine looking for the button for hot chocolate (the hotel we stayed in before had coffee and hot chocolate all in one machine). The waiter took the initiative to ask, and after learning that the child wanted to drink hot chocolate, he took the initiative to go to the bar at the door and make a cup! Very considerate service! At breakfast, I found that the restaurant was mostly British elderly people.

The hotel is clean and friendly overall. The TV remote control was broken, but they fixed it and responded quickly, but the heater fan was a bit loud. I had a good stay for 4 nights. I would visit again.

I'll persuade everyone to leave! The biggest failure of this trip to London was booking this hotel. Calling it a hotel is the biggest affirmation of it! Except for the good location, there is nothing else good, especially the front desk girl who only listens to the boss's arrangements and the arrogant and rude red-haired ***! The hotel has no service, no good environment, no delicious breakfast, and I can tolerate the musty smell in the room, but I prepaid 1,500 pounds for five nights! As a result, because I checked in two days later, I was asked to pay another 75 pounds on the spot. I had just got off the plane and had no cash with me, so I had problems with swiping my card. They wouldn't let me enter the room and asked me to wait for my husband to come back and pay 75 pounds before I could enter (my husband took the children out to visit the museum)!!! And the red-haired woman was arrogant throughout the whole process! Finally, I got angry on the spot and she opened a card for me, but emphasized that the 75 pounds must be paid on the same day! I think it's ridiculous. Does the hotel lack this cash flow or suspect that I can't pay 75? ? ! The most annoying thing is that she blocked my husband's card privately. My husband couldn't enter the room when he came back with the children!!! We went down to ask, but the little girl still refused to admit it. In the end, we found out that it was the red-haired *** who did it. They didn't even apologize!!! Finally, I was very angry and asked for an apology, and the little girl just said sorry! And then nothing happened. The red-haired *** never said sorry. I know Ctrip will not deal with this matter, but I just want to remind those who want to book this hotel, please stop! Don't book!!! I will also continue to complain to the official website of this hotel and fight for justice!!! What era is it now? How dare they bully the Chinese like this? !!! (There are no photos of this kind of hotel, and it is not worthy of me taking photos)!

It would have been nice to have a treatment in the bathroom. The location was very good, right in front of the V&A. South Kensington Station doesn't have a lift and only has partial escalators, so if you're coming from the airport, it might be better to take a taxi!

This is where I always stay when I go to London. The location is completely central London, so you can travel anywhere freely. Also, the facilities are great and the breakfast is delicious. There is also a swimming pool, so try using it. It's difficult to take a refreshing swim, but it's much better than a bathhouse.

The location is very advantageous. It is in central London, opposite the V&A Museum. You can walk to the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Imperial College, and Kensington Palace. It is also very convenient for dining and shopping nearby. The breakfast is English-style, the restaurant has a good environment and good food. I didn't get tired of it even after six meals. The club room we stayed in was relatively large in London and had complete facilities, but the bathroom decoration was relatively old.

The hotel is in a very good location, 5-6 minutes' walk from southkensington station. There are many places to eat near the station. Diagonally opposite the hotel is the V&A Museum. It is very convenient to visit the museum and buy V&A souvenirs (it also saves a lot of transportation costs, which are expensive in London). The hotel is also very close to the History Museum and Imperial College, and is very convenient from exhibition Rd. It is also convenient to walk to Harrods from the hotel. The British guy in the lobby of the hotel was very enthusiastic and helped with luggage. He greeted me warmly when he came in and out, which made him feel warm. The club room is quite large, which is rare in London where land is at a premium. Slippers, shampoo, shower and lotion are also provided, but there are no toothbrushes. Free water is only available on the first day and is not replenished in the following days. The towels are a bit hard. Although the hotel is right on the side of the road, you can't hear the noise from the road, but the soundproofing inside is average. Fortunately, the residents speak softly. The hotel breakfast is good, the British hotel breakfast is unchanged. The facilities are a bit old, and you have to swipe your elevator card several times.

The hotel is a ten-minute walk from South Kensington subway station, which is not very close. It is very close to the VA Museum, Natural History Museum, and Imperial College of Technology. Average value for money.

Great location, just opposite the V&A. The hotel is very English, the breakfast is great and has everything you need. The waiters and hotel management are very friendly.

The room is clean and spacious, and the location is superb. Will live here again in London
