Our experience was great, clean room very roomy. Plenty of facilities in room and on site. Staff were able to help with any queries and questions we had about the hotel and surroundings near hotel. The ice machine facility with ice buckets in room were a great to find to as this was a last minute booking we were very happy. Thank you

Stayed for 1 night with a friend. Everyone we spoke to were lovely and the room was nice enough (very modern bathroom but quite dated/tired bedroom). Great location. From 9:30am there was a constant loud noise coming from the elevators or drains. Meant we couldn’t sleep past then. After research we chose this hotel for the spa, thinking we could have a relaxing 2nd day before heading home. We were told we’d have to book a slot into the spa as they were so busy and the earliest slot was 12:00, with checkout being at 11:00. Given the hotel breakfast buffet we booked in for 10:30. Breakfast was rubbish. We paid £20 each for dry bread, hash browns, a few leftover bacon rashers and crusty baked beans. There seemed to be an egg station but no one there between 10:30-11:00. I appreciate we came at the end of breakfast, but we still paid the same £20 so expected a lot more. Only as we were walking into the spa were we told it was an additional £25. Changing rooms were TINY, space probably for 3-5women but there was over 10 of us when we went in/out. Very awkward and not relaxing. Given we were made to book, this overcrowding should have been considered. None of the locks on the lockers worked. 1/3 toilets was blocked. Facilities were decent enough and fairly clean, wouldn’t have minded if it was included in our £90 room. I’m due back in Liverpool soon but will be trying somewhere else.

I stayed at this hotel for three days when I came to Liverpool this time. In terms of hygiene, the pillowcases, sheets and bath towels all had dirty stains and yellow spots. It was really inconsistent with being a 5-star hotel (although they were replaced immediately when we asked for them). Second, it happened that the waiter left the towel in the room after cleaning the room. We returned the towel and took it away without apologizing or anything. It is recommended that you really bring your own sheets and pillowcases when you go abroad. The quality of the five-star hotels shows that the cleaning or acceptance standards of many items are not up to standard. But the dining environment in the lobby of u1s1 hotel is very beautiful, and the service and attitude in the lobby are very good. well

Such a shame the staff attitude lets this property down. Drove to the front door and the elderly doorman quickly disappeared when he noticed my car. I took out my own luggage, parked and bundled myself through the main door! He appeared after I entered the lobby!! Went to reception and waited (it was quiet) - it seems the standard welcome is “are you okay?” - not warm or welcoming at all. Smooth checkin, went to the room & found another persons bag there. Came back down - no apology!! - just the offer to change to another room. Room itself was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated - well maintained. Lobby bar service was efficient but not special. After my late evening I arrived back at 1:30am - staff sitting on the back counter at the front desk. Made no effort to stand up. Ordered late night food at the desk, no menu available, told only pizza or soup, chose pizza. Hot and tasty. Checkout - not busy but again “are you okay?” was the question when I’m standing there with suitcases. No smile, no thank you for staying or welcome back. Maybe this is what CP wants..I don’t know, but I expected a little better. Shame because it’s a lovely hotel, with great potential if the staff step up their game!
