For our trip to Lingshui, we specifically wanted to experience both Xiangshui Bay and Qingshui Bay. After comparing the two, if you're looking for a place to truly escape the crowds and enjoy a peaceful, relaxing vacation, this hotel in Xiangshui Bay is definitely the top choice. **Privacy and Ambiance:** The entire hotel is incredibly quiet, and with fewer guests, it feels wonderfully pleasant. During the scorching midday sun, lounging in the room's pool to cool off was absolutely heavenly. The hotel is very close to the beach, and the on-demand shuttle service was practically wait-free on weekdays. On weekends, with more people, it might be a bit slower. There are also many free-roaming rabbits on the hotel lawn, which is quite charming. **Compliments on the Travel Photography:** Because of the serene environment and fewer people, every corner of the hotel felt like a natural 'photo frame.' Every casual shot turned out beautifully atmospheric. The complimentary travel photographer didn't have that stiff, assembly-line feel at all; instead, they captured candid, lively moments of our child splashing in the water. **Facilities and Service:** To be honest, the in-room facilities do show their age a bit, and some equipment is slightly outdated. However, this is a minor point; the hotel's service team is incredibly warm and attentive. From the front desk staff to the shuttle drivers, everyone greeted us proactively, and their gentle voices left us feeling truly touched. If we come back next time, we would still choose this place for its tranquility and heartwarming hospitality.

After exiting the high-speed rail station, someone from the guesthouse was already there to pick us up. The next day, someone drove us to Fenjiezhou Island. When we wanted to visit nearby beaches, they lent us electric scooters for free, and cruising around was super enjoyable! The young ladies and the drivers were all very enthusiastic. In the evening, they brought us some fruit, and breakfast was provided in the morning. On top of all that, the accommodation price was really affordable – excellent value for money! Five-star rating! The picture shows the coconuts in the yard; there were so many hanging there.

The resort grounds are full of coconut trees, the pool is clean, and the greenery looks incredibly pleasant. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was super soft – I had a great night's sleep. The breakfast spread was substantial, and the egg tarts were delicious. They also had sweet potato and corn balls, and the buffet was fully stocked. Both the lobby and outdoor areas were spotless, giving off a strong island holiday vibe. It's been raining in Lingshui these past few days, so the weather has been cool and refreshing, and the air quality is genuinely good.

The hotel is right on the beach, perfect for surfing. We booked a full sea view suite, which was fantastic. We watched the sunrise directly from our room in the morning. There was also a wonderful staff member who proactively asked if we needed a baby chair, baby cutlery, and so on. They frequently came to help us clear and change plates. I ate so much fish, especially the one cooked with vinegar and fermented lees – it was incredibly delicious! We stayed for 2 days this time, and the experience was excellent. I will definitely come back.

Located in Xiangshui Bay, it's relatively quieter compared to Qingshui Bay. There are quite a few restaurants nearby, though it's definitely not as bustling as Sanya. The rooms are quite new, and the pool offers free swimming rings, though not a huge supply. Visiting during off-peak times offers better value for money. They have family activities, not an extensive selection, but enough to keep everyone entertained. There's also a beach where you can catch crabs and such.

On my last day in Lingshui, I sat at the tatami tea table, gazing at the view outside the window that gradually shifted from blue to orange-pink, and suddenly felt reluctant to leave. The hotel's tatami suites perfectly embody the minimalist aesthetic of the Song Dynasty, incorporating the principles of simplicity and negative space into every inch. From the natural wood latticework and elegant cotton and linen curtains to the warm-feeling teaware, even the window frames resemble picture frames, making it feel like stepping right onto the beach. In the morning, I could walk barefoot on the soft white sand, and in the evening, the sound of the waves seemed like background music. The most delightful surprise was the private tatami tea table—perfect for boiling water, brewing local white tea, watching the sea, daydreaming, and waiting for the sunset. The hotel's location is superb, right next to the popular Shuikou Bridge road. The macaron-colored railings and pavement, paired with the blue sky and sea, make for stunning photos; it's also close to Xiangshui Bay, offering a tranquil escape from the crowds. The resort boasts a private outdoor swimming pool, badminton court, basketball court, billiards room, children's playground, gym, and library—enough to easily while away an entire afternoon. Nearby water activities include surfing, jet skiing, banana boating, and yacht fishing—don't miss out! Fun! Exciting! Guests also enjoy exclusive discounts; the benefits we secured were truly substantial, even the instructors praised the price as ”incredibly worthwhile.” But what truly makes it memorable is the people here. Upon check-out, the receptionist chased after us with a bottle of ice water, reminding us, ”Remember to reapply sunscreen this afternoon,” her tone as warm as family. Every question was gently answered, every need carefully noted—such service is more heartwarming than the scenery. This hotel, imbued with Song Dynasty charm and genuine sincerity, is where I'll stay again next time I'm in Hainan, to drink tea, gaze at the sea, and reconnect with time.

The biggest satisfaction with this guesthouse is that I'd definitely want to stay here again! Facilities: The community has a very high green coverage rate, and the fitness, swimming, and activity facilities are complete… The swimming pool has lifeguards… If you don't want to stay in the community, you can share the hotel's pool and gym. It's incredibly close to Xiangshui Bay… a 5-minute walk, no need to cross the road! It's really convenient for taking kids to the beach! The community even has running water taps. Nearby amenities are convenient. There's a lively market within a 10-minute walk… During the day, there's a vegetable market, breakfast options, and fruit—everything you need. In the evening, there are various barbecue stalls, snack shops, and restaurants serving dishes like hot pot with fermented vinegar and herb-flavored duck. For coffee lovers! The best coffee shop nearby is Fei Ning Coffee; the flavor is excellent. Service: Thanks to our housekeeper, Xiao Yang! Even during the Chinese New Year, he was incredibly responsive, cleaning and resolving any missing items immediately! The surrounding scenery is also beautiful… It's very close to Fenjiezhou Island, and Awen Surfing and Beach No. 11 are worth visiting. Transportation is very convenient! It's just a few minutes after exiting the highway, and only a 20-minute drive to the county town. Bring your own kitchenware and recharge your gas stove to cook your own meals. I recommend the sea view room (lower floors may have ants). I stayed with my parents and baby for almost 20 days. Prices are suitable for retirement, and the beach is close, making it perfect for families with children… Highly recommended!

This is a great hotel. Our sea-view room offered stunning ocean views right from the window. The breakfast was decent. The large bed room is perfect for a family with two adults and one child. It's incredibly convenient to take the kids to the beach for swimming and digging in the sand, as it's practically right there. The hotel's off-season prices are reasonable, making it a good choice for those looking to travel during non-peak times.

Before check-in, a butler was already waiting to greet us. The room was spacious and the hygiene was impeccable, not to mention they proactively offered us two complimentary breakfasts. The main reason I'm writing this positive review is that at 2 AM, when I wanted to light mosquito coils but didn't have a lighter, the butler brought one to my room within ten minutes. This service is truly outstanding, making me feel that the money spent was absolutely worth it. Finally, when we left some clothes behind, they provided the quickest solution to get them back to us. 🥹💋
