Lan Ting Yard Hotel (Guilin West Railway Station) Reviews

Great location for those looking for a place near the train station, which is right across the street. Honestly would love to rate this higher, but waking us up at 1:00 am to tell us they gave us the wrong room and asking us to move is not acceptable behaviour.

My partner and I stayed at Lan Ting Yard for its location. It is a 3 minute walk to Guilin West Station. The room itself was fine but the bathroom is not clean. The floor had clutters of hair, the shower pipe leaks, and it seemed like the shower had not been cleaned for a while. The toilet rim also had stains. There was only one person on duty and he was not around most of the time. The common area and corridors were dimly lit. This hotel has potential. It just seemed to be badly maintained and unattended.

Excellent services at affordable prices. The owner was nice and arranged a taxi for visiting Longjing rice terrace and Yao village. Had a great time and highly recommended! 😍😍🤩🤩

The place was empty when we arrived. Completely cold we had to look and wake up the manager to ask for a heater.

Cheap and close to Guilin South Railway Station. Bed was ok and ok clean.

The hotel is located opposite the railway station in a remote location. But my choice was not accidental; I planned to be near the station. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. The staff helped with excursions and found a guide in a short time. I must say that the owner of the cafe nearby played a huge role in helping the excursion. She found a Russian-Chinese translator and convinced the receptionist to connect all her channels to search for excursions. A very responsive and intelligent cafe owner. Thanks to her concern, I will choose this hotel if I come again.
