Hotels in The Old Town of Lijiang, Lijiang

Owner was kind. The location is not quite ideal. You have to walk for 20 mins to Old Town, you can take didi but if there’s traffic, the time taken will also be 20 mins. If you bring luggage, you have to drag it for 5-8 minutes on stone surfaced ground before you reach the hotel as it’s located between small alleys. The hotel is pretty though and service is good. For muslim travellers, there are few halal restaurants 5 mins walk to the Old Town.

The guesthouse is conveniently located halfway up Lijiang's Lion Mountain, within easy walking distance of the Big Water Wheel and Sifang Street. The owner was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service, even going out of their way to help us plan our itinerary. It also features its own viewing platform with absolutely stunning views of Lion Mountain. Overall, this guesthouse offers superb value for money.

The friendly hosts make the stay here worthwhile. It’s unlike any other home stay where the guest will always feel welcome. They will also try to fulfil every request of the guest to make sure their stay here is comfortable. The location is far from the main road which makes doorstep luggage drop off difficult. It’s about 2 mins walking distance. But not to worry as the host makes it convenient for the guests by offering luggage pick up and drop off to the accommodation. The view of the bed room is spectacular with full window. This is the view from 2nd floor. Breakfast is served simple but yet hearty. Suitable for adults and children alike. In the afternoon, you can experience the local tea brewing and taste the authentic tea from Yunnan. Before bedtime, you get to enjoy a sweet dessert to end your night.

The location of the B&B is very good, right in the ancient city. The room is very clean, large and spacious, which is very rare. You can add an extra bed. The rooms in other B&Bs in the ancient city are very small. The owner and the proprietress are very nice and welcoming. There is a platform for taking photos and checking in on the roof of the B&B. You can see the whole ancient city. The scenery is very good! Very good treasure B&B

The hotel is lovely and well located near the northern gate of Lijiang old town. Cassie and her team have been kind and helpful to us in all aspects, such as booking of day tour, purchase of souvenirs and recommendation of food and drinks. Will be back again!

The weather in Lijiang is absolutely perfect; I never wanted to leave! It was so pleasant chatting with the owner, and I really admired their carefree and natural way of life. Lijiang is definitely a place I'll return to. Mitu Inn is newly renovated with excellent facilities. Unlike other places where the hot water was inconsistent (either too hot or too cold), Mitu Inn has constant hot water, which is a fantastic feature. Enjoying tea and conversation there was simply wonderful.

The location is very convenient to get to, a 3 minute walk, just below the Lijiang Ancient Town North entrance. All the main attractions in the town are a pleasant walk away through the old streets. The room itself is good and clean, and most of the toiletries and amenities are provided (toothbrush, shampoo, shower cap, etc.). The toilet is the most advanced one I've ever seen with more functions than a TV remote. Water bottles were provided as well. But the highlight would be the hospitality of the proprietor, which might be among the best in all of China. I've been invited to eat, drink tea and a bar. All included pleasant conversations with him, other guests, and his friends. This accommodation is surely the best one to stay in, especially considering the price.

The guesthouse is really conveniently located. It's just a 30-meter walk from where you get dropped off, which means you don't have to haul your luggage far along cobblestone streets. The room was also excellent, very clean and completely free of any odors. The property was beautifully decorated with lots of blooming flowers, which was a lovely touch. Plus, it's very close to the local market, which is a definite bonus!

The hotel location is near the main road so we can easily book didi during our trip. Although our room look quite old, but we have a nice stay during our trip. The host is super nice and always respond faster when we ask anything. Might stay here again if we come to Lijiang the next time.

A very elegant homestay, just like in a TV series. This is my ideal homestay in Lijiang. It has a very beautiful courtyard, leisurely and comfortable. The owner is also very nice and hospitable. It is my first time in Lijiang. The owner introduced the best travel guide and which food is delicious. I am very grateful. This trip was too short and I haven't visited many places. I will come to Lijiang again and stay here next time.
