A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Lijiang We had an amazing experience at this hotel! The facilities were top-notch, and the café inside the hotel is absolutely beautiful, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The best part? It’s located right inside the Lijiang Ancient Town(north gate), so getting around was incredibly easy. Everything was within walking distance. A special shoutout to Jiahao, one of the staff members. He’s not only super friendly, but also a fluent English speaker, which made communication smooth and enjoyable. His customer service was excellent, he went above and beyond by helping us book an amazing tour package that covered Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (JDSM), Tiger Leaping Gorge (TLG), and even Shangri-La. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang!

I stayed here for two nights. It’s a small guesthouse located in the old town area. Large vehicles cannot access the alley, so if you have luggage, I recommend using a trolley. There’s a baggage service at the entrance for about 20 yuan. Most of the staff here speak only Chinese and don’t understand English, so if you’re a foreigner, I recommend downloading a translation app in advance. However, they are very kind, providing warm service and always willing to help with everything, from booking tours and recommending restaurants to suggesting places to visit. Even on the way back, they helped call a car for us. The entrance to the guesthouse may seem small, but it extends deep inside with multiple rooms, ready to accommodate travelers. It’s located in the old town area, where you can walk around and explore almost 24/7. Highly recommend to stay here if you come Lijiang. ♡♡♡

From arrival to departure this was a great trip! We were supported by 阿布 for the trip. He picked us up to help with our bags, always made sure we had EVERYTHING we needed, and made our stay in lijiang convenient and wonderful. He even organized a breakfast for us when we had an early departure. The location is great and we really enjoyed breakfast and afternoon tea. Best hotel experience I’ve had

Before making the booking, I was quite skeptical of all the rave reviews (honestly, they all look like AI-generated). I am so glad that I went ahead with my booking in the end. The reviews were true! LaMaison was truly the highlight of our trip! Arrival: If you arrive in a standard sedan car, you can be driven to the doorstep of the hotel. We arrived in a 19-seater tour bus and were dropped off a short walk away. That was no problem at all as we didn’t have to worry about our luggage. The hotel manager/butler A-Liu contacted us beforehand and arrived right on time to help ferry all the luggage in a cart. Location: Excellent. With LaMaison located at the edge of the Old Town, we enjoyed both the convenience of exploring the Old Town on foot and a peaceful and quiet environment. Rooms: As mentioned by the other reviewers – the rooms are new, comfortable, beautiful and big (for the price). In fact the whole hotel was beautiful - every corner was photo-worthy. Service: Our hotel butler, A-Liu was contactable and responsive via wechat. He addressed all our questions and needs promptly. He also offered us an upgrade so that my teenager could have a private area in the room and a comfortable bed instead of just an extra mattress. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at LaMaison very much. The value was unbeatable. As part of the room price, we were offered daily breakfast, afternoon tea, supper and drop off at the train station at the end of the stay. A-Liu also provided a detailed map of the Old Town and offered to take us on a private tour of the Old Town Can’t recommend LaMaison enough!

No words to describe how amazing our stay was here. The place is clean and location is great. Right in the middle of the Old Town. The view from the room (facing the river) was very pleasant! The owner and staff were all welcoming and friendly, even when there was language barrier. They made us feel comfortable throughout the stay! They also arranged the pickup and drop off (from the airport and to the train station a week in advance) and everything went smoothly. I cannot recommend this place enough. Great value for money! Plus, the breakfast was delicious too!

The owner is welcoming and provide good hospitality. He recommended good local restaurants and suggestion for our trip. The stay was pleasant and would highly recommend this place. They provide luggage carrying service from the drop off point to the hotel because of the walking road. Good thing is they are very near the entrance.

I had a great stay at Lijiang Pu Zhi Designer Hotel HOLIDAY VILLA, located at the South Gate of The Old Town of Lijiang. It’s a convenient spot for exploring the old town, and the staff was attentive and very helpful with our luggage. The hotel offers a modern touch with whole house intelligent control, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the heartwarming breakfast and dessert they served. The hotel is also not far from the airport, adding to its convenience.

We had a great stay at this hotel the location is very convenient in Lijiang ancient town but it’s by the street so that cars can stop by the entrance of the hotel. We were welcomed by the front desk team that helped with our luggage. We initially booked a twin room but the room we had booked was a bit dark and we asked if there was any other room available. One of the employees named 阿鑫 quickly helped us to check and offered us an upgrade to a suite instead which was much better. The room was very clean and modern with a beautiful view of the ancient town. We also received free minibar and welcome fruits which was very nice. Furthermore, 阿鑫 helped us to introduce all the important tourist attractions and restaurants as well as bars. She helped to book tickets for the attractions that we wanted to visit and also followed up to see that we were happy. Her friendly and professional service made us feel very happy and we enjoyed our short stay in Lijiang very much.

Very enthusiastic team who took the initiative to reach out weeks before we arrived in Lijiang. Communication mostly done via WeChat was pretty smooth from arranging pick-up from train station to helping us arrange a private day trip to 玉龙雪山 Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Location is strategically location walking distance to the market square where there are plenty of F&Bs and bars to fit your schedule from day to night. The host would also provide recommendation on Didi drop-off point most conveniently located to the accommodation. This information is not readily available on those online map apps so we are very appreciative of guidance to navigate around the Lijiang ancient city conveniently. Do note the stone paths are uneven with many steps so do remember to wear a pair of thick/comfortable walking shoes! Did not manage to try the breakfast provided in the accommodations given our day started early. However, we were delighted to have a medicinal bath to relax after the long day outside. The accommodation includes a great bird eye view of the ancient city as well. Pretty private to chill in without the public crowd. Location is good, just beside the main road so easier to wait for didi or taxi. There is a chagee within the vicinity of the hotel, a convenience store in front and right at the entrance to the ancient town! Room was spacious, there is a self service washer and front desk has a translator device so make life easier for foreign customers!
