Hotels in Shuhe Old Town, Lijiang

Villa is very spacious, hotel’s environment is nice and quiet. Staffs are friendly, responsive and professional. By car, approximately 15 mins to Lijiang Ancient Town, 30 mins to Railway station, 40 mins to Yulong snow mountain. One of the room has the amazing view of Yulong Snow Mountain. Can take Didi from the side road, not necessary to take buggy to the main lobby. As the place is huge, buggy might take a while to arrive. House-keeping staffs have initiative. The toilet light was faulty and couldn’t be turned off and the drainage system in the sinks and bathroom wasn’t draining the waste water fast enough. When I returned to the villa in the evening, they were fixed even before I informed house keeping.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Bivou. It feels like a home away from home. I loved that it's tucked in a quieter corner of the ancient city. It's peaceful and tranquil and overlooks a vegetable garden where they get their vegetables from. Upon stepping into Bivou you're welcome with a cup of warm fruit tea and freshly baked cakes, you can't help but feel the warmth of the staff and place. I highly recommend the food in their restaurant/cafe as well, they are made with the freshest ingredients and also of the highest hygiene . They also have delicious Yunnan wines if you're keen to try some. The rooms are very comfortable and impeccably designed. I love the thoughtful touches they've included like a handmade lip balm, hand drawn walking maps of the surrounding villages, photo book of Lijiang, etc. Additionally, Hwee Ling, the owner of the hotel and her staff, are readily available if you need any advise or help with trip planning. I appreciate their insider's tip on places to visit in the area. I can't wait to return again to Bivou when i'm back in Lijiang.

The inn I stayed in this time in Shuhe, Lijiang was a pleasant surprise! Pushing open the carved wooden door, the flowers and plants in the courtyard swayed in the breeze, and the gurgling sound of the water instantly soothed the fatigue of the journey. The room is decorated with Naxi style, with solid wood furniture and soft bedding, and even the toiletries have a faint scent of plants. The boss and his family are super enthusiastic. Not only did they hand-paint a map of the surrounding areas, but they also shared the locals' private food shops. Awakened by the birdsong in the early morning, sitting on the terrace overlooking the ancient town, chatting and drinking tea in the yard in the evening, this kind of slow life makes people not want to leave! Highly recommended to everyone who wants to deeply experience the charm of Lijiang~

這次來麗江選擇的客棧太棒了！客棧位於麗江束河邊上，交通十分便利，對於想要享受古城熱鬧，又希望晚上能有安靜休息環境的人來説，位置絕佳。進入客棧院子種滿了各種綠植鮮花，彷彿一個小花園。坐在院子裏喝茶聊天，十分愜意。房間是現代與地方風格的完美結合，細節之處盡顯設計師的用心。床品軟硬適中，睡起來特別舒服，不得不提的是客棧老闆，熱情好客至極。一到客棧就被邀請喝茶、吃水果和當地特產零食，還詳細地給我們介紹雲南的旅遊攻略，感覺整個雲南的吃住行他都能幫忙解決。在他的推薦下，我們去了幾個小眾但風景絕美的地方，度過了一段難忘的時光。下次來麗江，一定還住這裏！

The hotel owner was very enthusiastic and even treated us to dumplings during the winter solstice. It was so warm! The suite I booked is very suitable for family travel. There is plenty of natural light in the living room, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The space is large, clean and comfortable. There is a courtyard in the hotel which is very pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast is included, which is clean and rich. It is very close to the east gate of the ancient town and it is convenient to call a taxi. There are many restaurants in the ancient town, with good prices and quality! If you come to Lijiang again, you must stay at this hotel again. I am grateful that the people I met in Lijiang are all very nice! praise!

The B&B is located in a high-end villa area near Shuhe Ancient Town. It has a beautiful environment and is quiet at night. It is also very convenient to enter the ancient town. It takes about 5 minutes to walk. We took a Didi and the car arrived at the door of the B&B. The bathroom is equipped with a smart toilet, a Lifen hair dryer and a constant temperature bathroom. The room is also very clean. There are many flowers and plants in the yard🌸, which is very beautiful and very photogenic. The bed is very comfortable to sleep on, highly recommended~

We stayed in four hotels in total during this trip to Yunnan, and Xitian was the most satisfactory one. The hotel is large, well-equipped, and has beautiful gardens. The rooms are also very large and comfortable, and you can see the snow-capped mountains from the balcony. I especially like Ayao's excellent service. He contacted a car to pick us up in time, helped us start the movie projection, and helped contact a car to the airport. The detailed service was great. Next time I go to Yunnan, I would like to stay there for two more days.

I couldn’t get up early, so I chose the Yueshi Yunyue Resort Hotel. I love it so much that I can see the golden mountain in the sun without leaving the hotel. This is why I chose this hotel. The house is warm and comfortable. The room is equipped with not only a washing machine, a wardrobe, and a TOTO toilet, but also a memory pillow, a large sofa, and a large living room. The public area also has a gym, a chess and card room, and a coffee shop. The garden design of the yard deeply attracted me. I felt as if I was in a paradise. Tranquility and peace filled my whole body and mind, and I couldn’t forget it for a long time. The overall style of the hotel tends to be modernist while retaining the traditional garden style. As soon as you enter the door, you can see the gurgling water and the green plants around it are full of vitality. The green leaves dance in the breeze, giving it a vibrant atmosphere. What impressed me most was the hospitality and politeness of the housekeeper. Soon after I completed the reservation, he contacted me and patiently and carefully introduced the local food, climate, and how to travel in the most worry-free way. When we were about to check in to the hotel, the young man was already waiting at the door and helped us carry our luggage to the room (which greatly reduced our burden and he was very attentive and responsible). When we were checking in, the young man still chatted with us enthusiastically, as if we were old friends meeting again after a long time without any sense of strangeness. When you open the door of the room, a warm and comfortable feeling hits you, as if you are at home. The soft and comfortable pillows and quilt make you not want to get up once you lie down. The neatly arranged toiletries and exquisite vase decorations in the house are pleasing to the eye. Overall, it far exceeded my expectations, and it was our luck to choose this place among so many people. Whether it is breakfast or afternoon tea, you can feel the warmth of the store. It is rare to have such enthusiastic service. Are you sure you don’t want to come and experience it? If you have nowhere to go in Lijiang, this must be a good choice. Drinking tea, chatting, and everyone sitting together to talk about their lives is so refreshing. Next time I come to Lijiang, I will definitely stay here again.

I have been to Lijiang many times. This time, the cherry blossoms happened to be in bloom, so I chose an inn in Suhe. The store is in the ancient city, but very close to the north gate. After we got off the bus, the young man in the store came to pick us up and helped us with the luggage. It was only a 2-minute walk to the store, so it was very close. We also selected our favorite natural aromatherapy tablets at the tea table. The boss has a treasure chest with glasses cloths, rubber bands, and even anti-exposure stickers. They are shared and everyone can come and get them if they need them. The boss is really considerate. The mattress in the room is really comfortable to sleep in, and the bathroom is big and clean. The flowers in the small garden are blooming beautifully, and there are two dogs, who are very friendly. Lijiang is so beautiful, I really don’t want to leave! ~Woo woo woo

We booked 2 nights at first, then decided to extend another night upon arrival. Our designated butler 小麦was very friendly and helpful. She handles our luggage even we arrived early. She helped us when we faced problems with transport bookings. The rooms are cozy and clean. Breakfast are provided and the food was nice with mixture of little western and local delights. (Food were served at their sister hotel. The sister hotel also worth to check out and stay) Yulong Snow mountain can be viewed on third floor with ample seating provided. Hotel location is walking distance (600m) from Shuhe Ancient City (束河古镇). A little bit about visiting months. We came on mid September. Most of times were cloudy without rains but view wasn’t that good. We were visiting a few place just to catch the summit view of Yulong but ended bit of disappointment. End October will be better month as in our friends described (He is there with families now). Lesser rain falls and coming to Autumn. Skies are perfectly clear.
