Hotels in Shuhe Old Town, Lijiang

Facilities: The hotel facilities are not new, but at least they are warm. Service: There are too many guests during the Spring Festival, which is understandable, but we also need to improve the response measures to such a large flow of people. I hope we can do better next time. Environment: The location of the hotel is still very good, and the snow mountain is right at the entrance. The hotel's Baxu service is also very friendly. We contacted them as soon as we entered the park. The distribution map of the scenic area is great.

ABSOLUTELY A GEM FIND!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! 又一居 tucked away at the end of an alley, you step into a hidden paradise where you can absolutely unwind and soak in all that yunnan has to offer. it’s a cosy abode that feels familiar and homely at every corner. the compound is big, 28 rooms and it seemed that every room had its own little nook / balcony / tea table to sit and enjoy great conversations. there are multiple courtyards, each with its own charm.. as you navigate from one courtyard to another, you can’t help but marvel at the tranquility and peace this place offers. it is extremely kid friendly. breakfast is mian xian noodles, porridge and a lovely assortment of refillable side dishes, afternoon tea is egg tarts + polo bun + americano / lychee tea. there’s a free fruit buffet everyday with a wide assortment of seasonal fruits, yoghurt, peanuts, tea, etc. there’s an on-site cafe, bakery and bar, 247 access to guest kitchen and laundry. the room was spacious, and bed was comfortable. it even has a TV with KTV function, you get to croon to 5 free songs everyday! the staff are extremely warm, and seem to genuinely love working here. they go beyond their means to help us feel comfortable, ensuring that we get the best advice (and best deal!) i’d love to give 晓黎 special mention, as she made herself available even at midnight to help us make arrangements for the next day! many thanks! 😘 the location is fantastic, as you’re nestled right in the heart of the food street running against a stream (the most photosque area of shuhe ancient town). right outside is a well know “小锅饭” restaurant that’s highly rated on meituan. the nearest pickup / drop off point would be: 束河古镇东南门 (Route to a slip road where you will see “Li Shui Yang Fang Conifer Carpark Entrance”). We arranged for luggage transfer to the hotel from this point, and easily arranged for taxi pick ups.

One of the best stays I had in China ~ Facilities were cosy and very clean; the staff were also extremely welcoming, very accommodating and eager to provide guidance on exploring Lijiang (I do really want to highlight that Bivou has a huge list of self organised tours and various workshops, making it a one stop place for your Lijiang travels!). As a big plus, the onsite bivou cafe also provided a decent mix of very tasty local / international food. Not forgetting to mention that it is located at the heart of Shuhe Ancient Town, making it a very convenient spot for you to travel around to various local attractions and enjoy local delicacies.

On the first day of check-in The boss saw that it was inconvenient for us to move our luggage and let us move to a more expensive twin room on the first floor for free The hotel environment is super good! We chose to extend our stay on the day of check-in and canceled the hotel we booked before The electric blanket is super comfortable You don’t have to warm the bed manually before going to bed at night You don’t have to worry about the quilt being cold when you go to the toilet in the middle of the night The toilet is also super big! The washbasin and toilet are still separate. It was super comfortable to live in. The drinks in the refrigerator were really drinkable. I took a bottle to the snow mountain. I came back to restock it. The rest of our things were not touched at all. (I put a bottle of yogurt in the refrigerator before I went out, and it was not touched at all. I added a bottle of Coke. Woohoo. It was great. And very thoughtful. Towels and other things were all disposable. I didn’t want to leave the hotel at all. It seemed that you could watch the sunset over the golden mountain from the hotel balcony. But I didn’t catch it. I will definitely come next time. I will come again next time. Woohoo. The boss is really nice. Woohoo.

The hotel is located at the east gate of Shuhe Ancient Town. You can drive directly to the lobby entrance. When you arrive, there will be staff to help you with your luggage. The service is great🤩 and the room type is upgraded for free👌The environment is great. I would like to call it a dream homestay🎉One step at a time, one view, the greening is very good, many beautiful girls check in and take pictures here🤳Looking at a corner of the snow-capped mountains, you can see the sunrise on the golden mountain without getting up early🏔️ I especially want to praise the hotel's private butler brother A Yao✅His attitude is enthusiastic, the service is thoughtful, he is busy and patiently answers guests' questions, which has brought us a lot of help on this trip! Give guests a home-like experience🔅🔅🔅

Customer service was great as told them late check in after 10pm, they were waiting for me and even have the room warmed up before my arrival! Nice location as located within the old town and with attractions and eateries all within walking distances. Rooftop have nice view of the surroundings. Breakfast was typically Chinese food and appetizing.

Booked for three nights and upgraded to a Snow Mountain View Room. From the balcony of the room, you can directly see the golden mountain in the sun. You don't have to get up early to go out. It's great. The room is very big and very comfortable. It's also close to the ancient town, just a few minutes' walk. Breakfast is at Alice's opposite, with a rich variety and delicious. The wifi is relatively poor, and the boss reported that it was a network problem of China Telecom. In addition, there is no curtain in the toilet of one room, which is still a bit awkward even for families. I hope it will be improved in the future.

Good service. Hotel is locates in the ancient town. Traveller might need to consider due to car unable to access. U have to carry ur luggage to the hotel passing the stoney road. Its quite challenging. Hote reception is very attentive. Overall is good experience staying there. The room i booked stated have Mountain View but when i checked in only realised it is not. International version and chinese version system might have translation gaps. This have to take note. Anyhow the hotel upgrade for me on what i booked using the international version.

The hotel is located inside shuhe ancient city, just a few minutes walk away from restaurants. The breakfast was excellent, and the owner was so friendly. The owner will contact in advance to help to collect luggage so no worries if you have many luggage. 😁
