The location of the inn is easy to find. It is next to the West Gate of Heilongtan and close to the ancient city. The owner upgraded the room for free when we arrived. There is an elevator, which is very convenient for going up and down the stairs. The breakfast is just a little simple. Everything else is very good.
The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and provided excellent service. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, and the afternoon tea and welcome fruit were exquisite and delicious. The breakfast offered a wide variety of tasty options. The hotel's location right next to the ancient city makes it very convenient for visiting attractions.
Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff. The room is clean. Breakfast is simple and nice. There is free laundry. The location of the hotel is good. It takes a few minutes walk to The Black Dragon Pool Park. It is also near to Lijiang Ancient Town. There is also a small garden at the top floor of the hotel where you can relax and see the snow mountain if the sky is clear. We had
a good stay.

Upon arriving in Lijiang, I checked into the Lige Hotel. The staff, especially Xiao Zeng, was incredibly warm and welcoming. The front desk and breakfast service were both excellent. The hotel itself has a beautiful environment, with convenient parking, an abundance of flowers and trees, and ancient calligraphy and paintings adorning the walls. There's even a tea station where you can brew complimentary tea. The entire hotel beautifully embodies the ancient charm of Naxi style. My stay was extremely comfortable. Overall, I had a great impression of this hotel. It's also very conveniently located near the Old Town.
Pick-up/station: The B&B provides airport/car pick-up service. The housekeeper will get to know your itinerary and luggage information with you the day before departure, and will confirm the arrival time with you before departure. After arrival, you will be sent directly to the B&B, which is very convenient.
Environment: The B&B is located on the hillside opposite the north gate of Lijiang Ancient Town. It is very convenient to the ancient town and Heilongtan Park. You can directly see Yulong Snow Mountain from the lobby. The location is quiet in the bustling city, and the environment outside is very quiet when you sleep at night.
Facilities: The B&B has swimming pools, tea bars, laundry rooms and other facilities. The water bar, smart appliances, projection, bathtubs and other configurations in the room are also very comprehensive. You can enjoy the mountain view while taking a bath.
Service: The 1V1 housekeeper service provided by the B&B will give pertinent suggestions on where to go and what special food to eat. Breakfast provides two options of Chinese and Western food. They are all made 20 minutes in advance after confirming the meal time with us the day before. The Western food we chose is very sufficient and tastes good, and we are very full.
Hygiene: Someone will come into the room tomorrow to clean and replenish toiletries. The bed, sofa and bathroom in the room are all very clean and it is very comfortable to live in.
This is simply the best place to stay, to explore Lijiang Old Town and surrounding areas.
* Overall - beautiful boutique hotel based on traditional Naxi architecture. Looks like a traditional inn, but is actually new and modern.
* Rooms - spotlessly clean, with all modern facilities. Light contemporary decor.
* Benefits - excellent breakfast, complimentary welcome drink, complimentary welcome fruit platter, complimentary afternoon tea & desserts, complimentary nightcap plum wine and light dessert. Daily complimentary laundry. Unlimited soft drinks in room fridge.
* Service - this is where the Dublin really stands out. The best service we've experienced in China, and most likely the best ever. The staff all work as a well trained team to make you feel at home from the moment you check in. A special shout out to Xiao Du!
* Location - Another great standout. Literally steps from the front door (next to the small restaurant on the right) there are a set of steps down to the canal. From there, just follow the canal to the Water Wheel and Lijiang Old Town north gate. Along the way is a large lively night market. You can also step down to the main road just outside and walk down a lively street full of food options. Pro Tip : Ask hotel staff how to get to the restaurant that is in the last picture below. Delicious Naxi food!
Overall : Best value, best location and best service in Lijiang!
When we started to get into the hotel, we were all impressed with the atmosphere. It is full of art and high quality decoration. The front staff provided really good service during our stay from the first day of checking in until the day of checking out. The room we stayed is nice and clean with plenty of sunlight from the wide window. Bathroom and toilet is all modern. The hotel has two buildings. You can enjoy the rooftop view at the top of one of the hotel buildings. On the clear day, you can have a good photo with Yulong Snow Mountain as a background. The hotel is also in a walking distance to Lijiang Ancient Town with a lot of restaurants during the way. You can easily enjoy the lively ancient town and back to have a good and quiet sleep at the hotel. One of the best thing at the hotel that we really want to tell everyone is the breakfast. There are so many choices of the food that we can enjoy without boring for our 4 days at the hotel. Every famous food that we should have in Lijiang, we can find it here. We would like to tell that this hotel is one of the best hotels in our travelling life.
The hotel is 10 min walking distance away from the old ancient town of Lijiang, there are some restaurants around which are very nice. The Black Dragon Pool is 5 min away which is very nice.
The rooms were clean and staff was friendly although they couldn’t speak English.
The rooms have new and modern amenities which might seem nice but in our experience, some of them don’t work well or maintenance is required. The bathtub leaked water all over the room and the bathtub walls were filled with water which made the bathtub very cold. Some lights and appliances were not working.
However overall a nice stay, nice views on the third floor
The hotel room was fantastic, right next to Heilongtan Park, and only a ten-minute walk from the ancient city. Opening the window revealed the park's trees, creating a tranquil atmosphere. You could sit on the balcony and listen to the babbling brook below, and watch the squirrels darting about in the trees. There was a rooftop viewing platform offering views of Guishan Park and distant Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, along with delicious afternoon tea ☕️. The manager was incredibly welcoming 😂. We spent half the day at the hotel having tea with our hotel guests upon arrival 🤣🤣. It wasn't far from Zhongyi Market either, about a ten-minute taxi ride. The night market was lively and had lots of delicious food.
This is hands down the best value-for-money hotel I've ever stayed at. The environment is absolutely gorgeous, and the service is incredibly attentive (they have a dedicated service group, and even upgraded our room when we arrived during the off-season!). The breakfast was delicious too (they even packed a simple meal for us when we had to leave early). Plus, there are all sorts of free unique experiences, afternoon tea, and a sweet evening soup. I was surprised to find that all the furniture was smart, and they even paid attention to small details like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers. It's such a great deal! And the little cats, rabbits, and turtles here are just adorable!

MM839447****The inn we stayed at in Lijiang this time was absolutely amazing! The owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful from check-in to check-out. Not only did he recommend local delicacies, but his fish is also incredible! It was delicious! He also helped us plan the best itinerary for our trip. It was truly picturesque, worthy of being called Altay in Lijiang! I absolutely loved this hidden gem! The room was even more amazing! The amenities were all complete and high-quality, and the bedding was soft, comfortable, and fully equipped! Every detail was meticulously thought out. The bathroom was spotless and tidy, with high-quality toiletries! And best of all, they even included breakfast! So friendly!
The inn is also conveniently located, yet quiet in the heart of the city. At night, I could enjoy tea in the courtyard and stargazing from the second-floor balcony. The atmosphere was simply stunning! I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lijiang. I absolutely must! Highly recommended to all travelers who appreciate quality!
MM498032****The room was clean, the bouquets of flowers were placed, and the fragrance was very elegant. The B&B was very close to the ancient city and it only took about five minutes to walk to the waterwheel, which was quite good.
The guy at the front desk and the lady boss were very enthusiastic. He explained to us interesting places and even made tea for us. It was really a pleasure to visit Lijiang😀 I will book here next time when I come to Lijiang. Highly recommended🫶🏻
GGuest UserThe Youth Hostel Courtyard is backed by Xiangshan, the air quality is particularly good, and there are two five black dogs with particularly gentle relatives, who can walk the dog as much as they like. It is very close to the ancient city/Xiangshan/Heilongtan and can be reached on foot. And when you are tired of eating outside, you can also eat at the Youth Hostel, eat authentic Jiangxi small fried, the small courtyard will organize activities from time to time, and single travel can also experience the fun of socializing. When I feel tired and don't want to go to the attractions, it is especially pleasant to go around the woods near the door without deep.
GgzironsmithWe were a group of two adults and two children on this trip, initially planning to stay only one night. We had already booked another hotel for the second night but ended up canceling it to extend our stay here. This guesthouse is full of Naxi charm, and they even have a dedicated Ancient Tea Horse Road museum on the basement floor – impressive! On the second day, I saw several tour guides bringing groups here and spending a long time introducing the guesthouse, really highlighting its rich cultural heritage. The owner is fantastic, incredibly enthusiastic with their service, and the Naxi specialty restaurant they recommended was very authentic. There was a small hiccup when we extended our stay on the second day, but the owner resolved it promptly and even chased us down at the restaurant to treat us to a meal, repeatedly telling us not to let that little incident affect our vacation mood. Although it's not in the ancient town itself, the location is convenient, within walking distance to the Big Water Wheel, and completely surpasses the cramped guesthouses you find in the old town. A hundred thumbs up! However, it would be even better if the ventilation issues in some room types could be addressed. I'll definitely be recommending this place enthusiastically to my friends and for my own future visits. 🥹🥹🥹
MM248640****The most delightful surprise of my trip to Yunnan was choosing the right hotel; I felt completely rejuvenated from check-in to check-out.
First, let's talk about the stunning views and the room itself. Opening the window revealed an abundance of greenery, and the sunlight streaming through the wooden lattice onto the floor created a beautiful play of light and shadow, like a painting. The room was incredibly well-equipped, with a smart toilet and soft bedding. The bedding, in particular, was skin-friendly yet supportive – after a long day of travel, lying down made my fatigue disappear instantly. I slept exceptionally well, accompanied by the subtle sounds of nature.
What truly touched me were the thoughtful service details. The owner was as kind as family. When I left, she specially gave me a bag of local farmer-grown fruits and dried herbs, suggesting I brew them into tea to remember my time here. This gesture was truly heartwarming.
The location is also very convenient; it's within walking distance to attractions, and the surrounding amenities are complete, yet it's incredibly quiet at night. The value for money is outstanding; for a reasonable price, you get such a fantastic accommodation experience. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Yunnan!
GGuest UserThe B&B is great. The single-family courtyard is undisturbed by others. Parking is also convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk next to the ancient city. There are many rooms. Our family of nine didn't occupy all the rooms. The garden in the small courtyard is very beautiful and has the style of Lijiang. All in all, it’s quiet and comfortable, suitable for family travel👍
