Hotel located at Yuhu village, going in and out was a hassle as we have to inform the hotel of the car plate number in advance. And it's approx. an hr ride from the Lijiang railway station. There are quite afew popular cafes and restaurants within walking distance in the village. It would be a good location if u would like to explore around the village. However, wouldn't recommend one to explore the village at night as it's v dark at night with minimal street lights. Beddings were clean and comfortable. There's heater in the room so it's not cold at all and shower heater is consistent. The mountain view was magnificent. Hotel provides western and chinese cuisine to choose for breakfast and we can arrange activities; hiking, tour around the village etc. Room was equipped with a bluetooth speaker, Dyson hairdryer, air purifier and complimentary snacks!! Lastly, I would like to commend receptionist, Ann for her great service and patience to guide me through booking tickets online. Overalls, a comfortable stay i would definitely stay here again!!

Stayed in Rock Hotel for 3 night and it was a vacation well spent! Good location with view of the mountain and walking distance to Yuhu village. Room decoration is classy. Food was good, have set meal for Chinese or western breakfast and the servings were more than sufficient. There were plenty of activities organized by the hotel and we took part in sunshine and the night start viewing which was awesome! Overall , service was excellent! I asked for a takeout breakfast for one day and they provided sandwiches and fruits! Also asked to have some special room deco for my girl and they outdid it!!!!!! Nitpicking a bit, the coffee in the breakfast seems pretty weak. Hope they can use better beans😀. Also some part of the room seems not aging well and needs to be fixed. Will definitely not mind staying here again next time!!!!

Overall i am satisfied my one night stay in The Rock. However, i am not so impressed with the afternoon tea. Normally a good quality afternoon tea comes with sufficient cakes, scones, fruits, biscuits. But the afternoon serve by The Rocky is rather pathetic. Breakfast served was okay but no great. I see both the afternoon tea and breakfast should improve. I did not consider taking lunch or dinner in the hotel as i do not know what they are serving. If i am returning to 玉湖村，i may not stay here again. There is no pull factor to attract me back.

Excellent stay- Beautifully curated room with Naxi architectural details. Comfortable stay with impeccable service from Chinese and Western options for breakfast that is beautifully plated, delicious dinner (affordably priced). Staff is very friendly and engaging- we particularly enjoyed the Botanic hike in the morning and just hanging around the still rustic village of Yuhu. Highly recommend staying at the The Rock and enjoy a luxurious, cultural stay surrounded by snow mountains. P.s. The hotel is located in a scenic area so do let them know the car plate no before coming.

Everything was beyond expectations! We love the scenery of Yulong Mountain. The room was also clean and nice! It’s a bit difficult to go from Lijiang but definitely recommended!!

A spontaneous trip, mostly because I found Shiluoke through the Internet. The three-day and two-night stay allowed us to get to know this village with only 400 households at the foot of the snow-capped mountains! When we first arrived at the hotel, there were already two people waiting for us to pull our luggage at the door. The room was clean and tidy with a wide view. The decoration also retained the characteristics of Shiluoke Village. The daily breakfast and afternoon tea were of high quality. I participated in the Naxi home visit and met Grandpa. As a result, the child liked Grandpa and went to Grandpa's house three times in two days. The 6-year-old child followed Uncle Shiluoke on the 4-hour hike. The 6-year-old child followed Uncle Shiluoke all the way down by himself. In the evening, the guests from all over the world chatted around the fire and waited to see the stars. With the blessing of professional equipment, we took pictures of the starry sky, the sunset, and the golden mountain in the sun. Several young people at the front desk of the hotel were enthusiastic like friends and were available on call when needed. Every afternoon when we rested in the room, afternoon tea was delivered to our room. We had dinner at the hotel on the last night. I didn't expect the cost performance was so high. In short, I was quite satisfied with the stay with the elderly and children. The children experienced a few days of outdoor trips embracing nature that they could not feel at all in the city! I heard that summer is also fun, with more plants and mushroom picking. I will come again in summer vacation if I have a chance! A little bit of advice: the sanitation of the corners of the room needs to be improved, and the bathtub switch is not designed properly. It is hidden in the corner and cannot be reached. You need to enter the bathtub to use it. Finally, I hope that Shiluoke will get better and better! I just watched Running Man and didn’t expect to come to this village. I also hope that this small village will always keep this pure heart!
