Excellent location just off the motorway. Spa / pool / gym are great to break up the day. Staff are great, very friendly and helpful. Rooms lovely. Bar & grill could do with a change of menu. Food choice and standard are both poor. The price also being expensive for what it is. No one asks if everything was ok with any meals. Frequently cold meals / parts of meals. Breakfast buffet was not the best and the hot selection was poor in taste & quality. Not worth £10. I would stay again but order food in or bring food with me.

Great hotel with nice decor rooms. As i came from far and i have electric car the biggest benefit was the Tesla superchargers. I got the basic room and it didn’t include breakfast or access to the gym/pool. Parking overnight is a £5 charge. So for me everything was an extra even when i asked for dental kit as i forgot my toothbrush it was an extra £1. There was no phone for room service either in room so i had to go downstairs. Great room otherwise.

First hotel without water and telephone in the room. My room was on 4th floor had to get down everytime when I want something.

Always get what you expect at Village. Clean and tidy room, easy check in/out, lovely breakfast. Little disappointed with the price but was due to an organised event in the locality.

Not happy with trip.co.uk as I booked a club room with free access to gym and pool. But when about to enter gym/swimming pool they refused saying that it was a standard double room. Even though it was a club room, and all club rooms include free access to gym and pool. Lady in gym reception refused to let us in even though it clearly stated in the email confirmation that it was a club room with free access. Lady still refused and demanded money to use the gym and pool. I asked for management. They said because i booked through trip.com (third party) it did not allow. Absolutely ridiculous.

I have stayed at the hotel so long it's clear that it feels like home and I can honestly they they don't go less than above and beyond to help you feel at ease and at home I have not one complaint to make other than, can't you just let me live there guys xx 🥰 Helen on the desk is one of the loveliest people you'll probably encounter and if there's an issue they try their best to deal with it in a favourable manner so that you don't feel awkward or embarrassed, well once they know you better, you'll have to remember how many people they all deal with minute by minute and they aren't all reasonable, understanding or rationale but they all seem to keep their cool and keep a light humour to the situation which is lovely xx
