Popular Lawrence County 4-star Hotels

My family moved from the Alex Johnson to this hotel. While this hotel is marked as a 3-Star hotel, the Doubletree was FAR superior than the 4-Star Alex Johnson. The location is amazingly convenient to site seeing in Deadwood as well as the Black Hills. We also spent time in the Badlands and the drive was only 1 hour. The rooms are HUGE and new. We never heard our neighbors or even noise in the hallways. The hotel was spotless and cleaning staff was always present to ensure cleanliness. The staff was welcoming, helpful and made sure the kids always had fresh cookies! We stayed for the 4th of July and the hotel also had itineraries of all the area events to make tourism easy! Great on-property dining with kid-friendly options as well as stocked general store and gift store. ****** was casual and did not ever feel like an in appropriate environment for kids. Parking was free and very easy to park. Would definitely stay again!
