Hotels in Dongfanghong Plaza/The Mixc, Lanzhou

Location is good, staff friendly and able to speak English, very helpful and nice. The room was decently decorated however there were a few inconveniences you would not expect from Hilton. Curtains were missing, noticed too late, in the morning the light was so bright through the sheer, my sleep was disturbed. The room was extremely hot (27 degrees celsius) while the ac was working it still felt too hot. The mattresses felt somewhat different from other Hilton hotels. I struggled falling asleep and kept waking up throughout the night. The internet speed is locked behind a Hilton membership (2025, having wifi locked behind membership is insane) The bathtub didn’t have any toiletries nearby, if you want to take a bath and wash yourself you will have to get out of the bathtub and reach for the shower gel or whatever else you need or bring your toiletries with you and put them next to the bathtub before getting in. The view was nice however the sofa in front of the big windows with the city view had stains and dark spots on it making it a bit uncomfortable to sit on it for too long.

The Hyatt is the best Hotel in LanZhou. Not only because of zero distance to the yellow river, but guest services.  Because the guest room was not available, and we needed to visit provincial museums first, I’ve got guidance for luggage storage, provided local cuisine, tourist places, and reserved us a higher floor Guest room. Then we enjoyed our provincial museum, delicious local food, then we enjoyed the gorgeous view of lunch and the yellow river from the guestroom. I would definitely choose Hyatt again. And I appreciate Rita who provided very warm professional help for us! By the way, the breakfasts are very enjoyable with local special offers.

This stay was beyond my expectation! The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and I slept well until dawn. The service staff was warm and considerate, and they were very thoughtful from check-in to check-out. The breakfast was rich in variety, with a reasonable combination of Chinese and Western styles. The location is also great, with convenient transportation around, and it is convenient for shopping and eating. Highly recommended!

There was a small problem during the booking process. Fortunately, I communicated with Trip.com and the hotel side very happily. The way to solve the problem was very refreshing, so that the experience of staying in was full! Check-in at the front desk was very fast, answering questions was very enthusiastic, praise +1! The parking lot is a bit small, but fortunately the security guard is very responsible, the command is very patient in and out of the parking lot, praise +1! The rooms are clean, the service attitude is good, and the transportation is convenient. Although it is located in the city center, it only takes eight minutes to get to Lanzhou Railway Station by taxi. There are many catering facilities around. There are authentic beef noodles, red willow barbecue and mutton soup downstairs in the hotel. It is an ideal place to stay for business trips and travel.

Since I am traveling for a long time, I will always choose this hotel when I come to Lanzhou. The hotel's management, environment and service are getting better and better. Zhang Yanling and Pei Jing at the front desk were as enthusiastic as ever. They not only introduced the hotel's latest services, but also recommended the latest restaurants nearby, which helped me avoid a lot of pitfalls😁. The hotel's facilities have been constantly updated, the sanitary environment is still as tidy as before, and the service at the front desk is becoming more and more enthusiastic.
