Top 5-Star Hotels in Lanzhou

The main draw of this hotel is the location and leisure facilities. If you like to keep fit or need to get fit - then this is a perfect hotel for that - as you can integrate it into your trip whether it be for business or holiday. The pool and gym are the most impressive facilities I’ve come across in a hotel. If you can’t swim I’m sure there are lessons available which would be a great thing to do no matter the purpose of your trip. Thought the room was comfortable enough but I suppose if you weren’t using the hotel facilities you may feel it’s overpriced - we didn’t think this because we used the excellent pool and gym. We had a couple of cocktails in the lounge bar that were excellent and the service in the hotel was very attentive.

Very happy with my stay. The reception is not located on the ground floor but staff make it very easy for you to find the elevators. The room was very clean and well maintained. All facets of the suite worked very well. The “Executive Lounge” is located in the lobby and contains a fair selection of Whiskeys and Wines. This was my first time staying in a Hilton, this hotel has now set a bar for my hotel experience.

Crowne Plaza is a big name, but why hasn't it improved? The room hygiene details are not in place, and the facilities are in poor condition. For example, there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the scale is just for decoration without electricity. There is no place to put the hand towels and face towels. Do they have to be piled on the countertop? The toilet is not smart, but can there be a place to put the phone? Can the service be more careful? Is the efficiency good? Are there no shortage of customers?

The hotel lobby is spacious and grand, with beautiful background murals and chandeliers. This stay was great! The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is comfortable, and the hygiene is impeccable. The front desk staff is enthusiastic and responsive, and the breakfast is rich in variety. The location is convenient, and Wanda Plaza is very convenient for eating, drinking and having fun. The concierge is super convenient for recording license plates and storing luggage, and the cost-effectiveness is super high. I highly recommend it and will choose it next time!

I went back to Lanzhou for the Spring Festival and stayed for eight consecutive nights. This was also the hotel I booked after reading reviews before traveling. After checking in, I found it was really good. The front desk was very enthusiastic. I originally booked a double bed room. When I saw that I was with my child, I immediately said that I would change it to a twin bed room. The room was large and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows and air conditioning. It was cleaned in time every day. Fruits and coffee were given free of charge during the Spring Festival. The experience in all aspects was in line with the five-star standard. I recommend that you consider staying! In addition, the restaurant of the same name next to the hotel is delicious and the private room environment is comfortable. I ate several meals in a row, and both adults and children liked it very much! The hotel has a superior geographical location. The Tuanjiexincun subway station is 100 meters to the right of the door. The Jinqiang beef noodles next to the subway entrance must be punched in for breakfast every day! It was a perfect experience!

A hotel with a very high cost performance ratio, good service, clean and sanitary, relatively new facilities, large shower water, close to Zhengning Road Night Market and Nanguan Night Market, very convenient for travel, the hotel has a parking lot, the handsome guy Xiao Zhao at the front desk is very nice, the service is warm and thoughtful! In short, this hotel is highly recommended for traveling to Lanzhou!

The front desk staff was warm and polite. When checking in, the front desk staff also gave us local yogurt. The room was equipped with smart Xiaodu, clean and tidy, with an excellent location. It takes about five minutes to walk to the popular Zhengning Road Night Market and about 15 minutes to walk to Zhongshan Bridge. It was a good stay experience. When friends and relatives come to Lanzhou in the future, I must recommend this hotel!!!

The room size is OK, but the breakfast is closed too early. The hygiene is OK. The facilities are quite old. Free parking is available in front of the door. The service is average, especially the waiter, who knocked on the door twice and walked in directly, which scared me so much that I almost had a heart attack. Strict requirements and training should be implemented in the future. It is a five-star hotel, but it does not meet the five-star standard.

Location: Excellent, Exit C of Lanzhou University Station. Please note that the hotel's door is on a boat road. Cleanliness: good. Some residents smoke with their room doors open. Service: Full marks. Catering: It is a relatively weak one, and the breakfast coffee is not hot enough. Price drop: It is considered to have a high CP value. It's worth staying. The mutton shop opposite Lanzhou University has good trotters. Going further, the steamed buns are delicious.

We had a amazing stay. Lovely beds, shower and the food for breakfast was delicious and had such variation! The staff were incredibly helpful. Li Wenqiao was particularly superb!! He went out of his way to help us we any questions and needs we had during our stay (often before we even had the chance to ask!). This included sorting us out car hires in Lanzhou and beyond. Despite the language barrier he made a sincere effort to make us feel welcome and check we understood everything we needed to know. Wang Naipeng was also amazingly helpful! Coming to the rescue when we ordered takeout to completely the wrong place 😂 We wish were returning to Lanzhou again soon, so we could stay in the hotel again! :)
