Villa Kelapa Langkawi

Peaceful, beautiful and comfortable! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Villa Kelapa. We were looking for a few days of mainly relaxation, and this place was perfect for that. Nice, peaceful surroundings amongst rice fields with gorgeous sunsets and good, friendly, easy-going service. Shout out to Fauzi for taking good care of us. Our villa (Batu, I think) was clean and spacious, very comfortable and our daughter appreciated having her own room. Good aircon and hot water. We had a kitchen too with a stovetop and basic cooking utensils. Especially loved the outdoor area with dining table, hammock and pull down shades. So nice! We weren’t in Langkawi to do a lot of activities, so the location wasn’t a problem for us. We went out one night for dinner and took a day-trip to Pulau Payar, and relaxed at the villa the rest of our time. Nice pool. They recommend having your own transportation, but we managed fine by taking Grab rides and ordering Grab food. You might need to plan a bit and schedule Grab rides ahead of time from the villa so you don’t have to wait a long time. Would highly recommend for peaceful, quiet relaxation and comfortable, beautiful environment.

Villa Kelapa is 1st class and deserves the consistent 5star reviews (which you don’t often see) Heritage Malay bungalow villas (100+ years) reconditioned into small complex of family run accommodation in most amazing surroundings & really reasonable rate compared to other similar we looked at. Our villa overlooked padi fields & jungle with beautiful birds (inc. king fishers) & amazing sounds of nature & the distant mosque. We loved the well stocked kitchen & our kids enjoyed home cooked food, after travelling in Asia for sometime. Living space and veranda with hammock also loved. Anis & Michaela we’re just lovely to deal with from start to finish. Helped us with scooters, mangrove trip and everything we asked. Huge thanks for your efforts to make our holiday special

This was the perfect place for me and I hope to come back! I reached out the day before as it was a last minute holiday and they had room at the smallest villa (since it was just me). Anis replied quickly, answered all my questions, and said a Grab was the best way to get there. Easy day! She and Mike (groundskeeper extraordinaire) were there to greet me, along with Bobba, one of the sweetest, most social pups ever! Bobba and I became quick friends and he’s so well trained; doesn’t beg for food or enter the villa. But he will wait outside for you to give him pets and love…or follow you to the pool or greet you in the morning or when you return. There are also a few sweet cats, but they are more timid. Anis, her husband, and their daughter are wonderful humans! They helped with renting a vehicle, getting food, eco-friendly your suggestions, and even an early morning ride to the airport when my Grab driver never showed after about 20 minutes. I hope to return with family/friends. Thank you so much!

We stayed in Villa Batu for 1 week over Christmas and absolutely loved it. It's a very modern place with beautiful landscaping. It felt very peaceful and private. It was a wonderful place to spend time with family. The owners, especially Anis, were extremely accommodating and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed the access to the paddy fields and watching the many birds that visited the garden. Thank you for everything - we hope to come back again very soon.
