"1. Slow check in process by the staff who had assisted me as compared to my friend’s. Though I have 3 rooms to check in but was asked with lots of questions and the whole process took me at least 30mins? - not sure if this is normal. 2. Cleanliness of the room was horrific for a Google 5-star hotel. Mentioning the worst - Insect carcasses was noted at a corner of the living room on the check in day as shown in the picture. It was still there even after room service. 3. Cash left on the dining table when missing after returning to room at night. Believe it was assumed as ‘tips’ after room service? Tips for not cleaning insect carcasses? 4. The kitchen sink was clogged again despite the first repair. 5. 2 out of 4 toothbrush kits were opened with missing toothpaste on the check in day. Out of so many bads, at least I’m glad that the guards over there were friendly."

"Pro: -service particularly pool attendant and breakfast team lead -who assisted me they they noticed my arm in sling , much appreciated Cons: - room was v small. I thought maybe an an allowance would be made for to my injury but they insisted I had to pay for an upgrade ..I guess business is business? - there are minimal tv channels (only apps) so no mainstream ones like bbc/cnn or even Malaysian astro sports - pool is very clean however not open till 8am or would be great if they could clean and open an hour earlier and maybe little later in evenings as the heat in LGK requires a cool off!!"

"We stay at the sea villa studio, quite secluded from the other hotel room and looks empty from far but everything is good actually. All amenities are complete, big room and quiet. The sea villas are also share with the langkawi lagoon residence and some personal buyer. Breakfast also nice and delicious. Only the location is not over the tourist area like pantai Cenang or pantai Tengah thus no direct beach access"

"This hotel offers excellent value for money, with key advantages: 1. Excellent location, with the shopping district just downstairs, so you don't have to go out of your way to eat or shop; 2. Cleanliness is impeccable, with no blind spots on the tables or bathroom tiles; 3. The soundproofing exceeded expectations; I didn't hear any corridor noise at night. My only small suggestion would be to add more charging stations. Overall, I highly recommend it!"

"Wonderful experience. Service was prompt, staff friendly, they accomodated our requests. Huge unit was kept very clean throughout, good location nearby Pantai Cenang and Pantai Tengah. Only regret was that we didnt stay long enough! Thank you La Villa for a memorable time. Highly recommended."

"This is our 2nd time stays at Jasmine Villa. The 1st time on 2022 (don’t have pool yet). And we repeat to stay here again but this time already got pool. We really enjoy spend our time here. "A very satisfying experience, worth recommending and sharing with everyone! This is a relatively hidden B&B hotel, which is small but exquisite. There are very primitive villas and modern suites. The breakfast is particularly rich. The owner Won and his staff are very enthusiastic and friendly, making people feel the warm and homely feeling from the heart. We spent a happy two-day holiday, which was very unforgettable. I look forward to having the opportunity to meet again!"

"We recently spent 4 days and 3 nights at St. Regis Langkawi, and while the overall experience was pleasant, there were areas that could definitely be improved, especially considering the premium price point. Butler Service: While St. Regis is known for its signature butler service, our experience left us underwhelmed. We only met the butler in person twice throughout the stay, and even during check-out, no assistance was provided. It didn’t feel like a true “butler service” experience at all. Perhaps the hotel should reassess how they define and deliver this service to meet guest expectations. Valet Parking & Buggy Service: On a positive note, the valet and buggy services were excellent—efficient, friendly, and professional. The team handling this part of the hospitality really stood out. Breakfast: The breakfast spread was decent but honestly did not justify the price we paid. Some items were disappointing—like the congee, which was served cold, and the pre-fried noodles, which were dry and lacked flavor. Additionally, if you are vegetarian, I would strongly recommend informing the hotel in advance during your booking. Otherwise, you might be better off opting for a no-breakfast package, as the vegetarian selection is quite limited. Room & Housekeeping: The room itself was very comfortable, and the turn-down service each evening was well-executed, adding a nice touch to the overall stay. Overall Impression: St. Regis Langkawi offers a beautiful environment, comfortable accommodation, and standout valet/buggy services. However, for a luxury resort, the butler service didn’t meet expectations, and the food & beverage offerings, especially breakfast, could use significant improvement. With some adjustments in these key areas, the experience could truly match the brand’s luxury reputation."

"Perfect place to enjoy a little quiet time or rambunctious gathering of friends or family. Tempe villa faces the paddy field, I enjoyed gawking at the buffaloes grazing and still feel safe inside the compound. The gardens are so well manicured and lush, rooms are clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped with stove, oven, fridge if you feel the urge to cook, they even have bottles of seasonings at the ready. Loved the rain shower and the spacious bathroom, although a little disappointed there was no bathtub. Master bedroom was a bit hot as the air conditioning was not directly facing the bed and blocked by the wardrobe. Price is a bit steep considering there’s no communal facilities, no F&B outlet or pool, as other villas except for this one have their own private pool. It would be great if there was an outdoor ceiling or standing fan for the terrace too, as it can get quite humid when there’s no wind. All in all, a very beautiful estate run by very friendly staff made it a very memorable stay."

"Overall good stay and will return for next visit Sound proof is good and got a good rest throughout the stay. The pool is great for my 6 years kid. Facilities need some upgrade as it may be quite old but they maintained it quite well. Hotel location is not an issue as in langkawi, all the attraction is not near to one another. Just rent a car if possible. Maybe a small issue to raise: If possible, catch the monitor lizard around the garden area to the pool. met 3 such lizards. Thanks"
