Quality Inn Lakeland North Reviews

Cleanliness is NOT their strong point. It’s had its glory in the past. Now it’s all old and demand a remodeling. At the front desk their were super nice.

The room was large but smelled stale like mildew or mold. The carpet was not very clean and had a ridge under the carpet like the floor was buckled or something like that. The blinds in this room did not work. Breakfast was a bag of not much. Had panhandlers in the parking lot approaching customers.

They were very friendly and accommodated my early check-in because of a wedding. they were doing improvements to the property but it did not interfere with my stay.

When I went to check in the lady at the desk had to do something in the back and when she came out my name was on the computer but she exited it out saying it hasn't even given me a room yet and proceeded to check in some guests that she knew. From there I went to the elevator at which point I found an empty bag of dope in the floor of the elevator. That empty bag of dope remained in the elevator for 2 days. When I went to take a shower the shower head was so clogged up that it trickled. Then at breakfast we were required to stand in line and sign in as if we were in prison. And the quality of the food was so bad there is no way someone's sneaking in there to eat. During my stay I stepped on a cockroach in the lobby outside of the elevator, that cockroach was cleaned up very quickly although that empty bag of dope remained in the elevator for 2 days. The last night of my stay when I parked my truck I parked next to someone who was either passed out or not it out at the steering wheel of his car with his car running. I wish I had known that it was choice hotels before I made the booking or I would not have booked it. Not to mention that it cost me $240 for a room that would that was advertised at $99.
