The hotel is within walking distance from Kyoto station, Gion area. Very close to the subway station. Nice area. Polite reception staff. The hotel, the room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Clean, beautiful.

There was no shoehorn in the room, no pajamas or dressing gown, no water. Cleaning every three days, you can't even take out the trash or change the towels. Downstairs in the hall there is a coffee machine and a soda machine, and now it is paid. Exactly a year ago we were in this hotel and it seems that something has changed for the worse. Plus very late check-in and early check-out, of course this was agreed upon initially, but still.

The room is cleaned every three days, which is inconvenient for travelers staying less than three days; check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 10am, same point as above; everything else is very good, clean, and the front desk receptionist can communicate normally in English.

It's a short walk inside the alley. The room I stayed in had a shower but no bathtub. It was semi-self-service to save costs, but the room felt a bit cramped.
