A wonderful hotel with a convenient location and friendly staff.
We took a room with breakfast, it was very tasty, they offer one main dish to choose from, and then you can take a salad, yogurt with filling, soup and drinks. I think you can find a main dish to your taste. The choice was large.
The room was clean, cleaning was done, towels were changed every day.

Perfect location! But the service is average, the attitude of the front desk staff is not bad but definitely not good. The frequency of room cleaning is strange. We stayed for four nights, but they only came to clean the room and change the sheets on the fourth night. (This room type does not have a bathtub, and the shower room is small)

this was ok, there‘s better value for money found in other hotels in kyoto, beds were uncomfortable and felt cheap.

I guess there are no expectations for a star resort. The price is reasonable, so it can't be helped. I won't choose it next time, as there are other options in the same price range. For example, Mitsui Garden Shijo was the only good choice.
