The neighborhood is very quiet. We were dragging big luggage and couldn't take the bus. It would take more than 10 minutes to walk to the subway station, so we chose to walk from Kyoto Station. It took about 20 minutes to get there. It was easy to walk. We trusted the navigation and took the overpass to the hotel. It was so hard!! The stairs were long and the luggage was heavy. We found out the next day that there was a zebra crossing about 20 meters ahead. The navigation was so bad! There is a 711 about 300 meters away, a ramen restaurant about 200 meters away, but it's not delicious. There is a bus stop about 100 meters away. In summary, it's comfortable to stay, but there's nothing to visit nearby. It's convenient to take a bus.
