Kyoto Century Hotel Reviews

Hotel is nearby the Kyoto station & bus station which is very convenient to go around the city. Since it is my girlfriend’s birthday, I’ve contacted the hotel to pre-arrange the special decoration & birthday cake! Very nice decor and arrangement! Only one thing is the room seem little bit small than the expectation otherwise than that everything from the hotel cleanliness to the staff are good and on the high standard. I will definitely come back this hotel in the future when visit Kyoto again!

This hotel is amazing and I will definitely come back again !! Love the overall design of the hotel , it has the retro feeling and I love jt . Room although is small in nice , and the furnitures and design are lovely. The room ks very clean and bed is comfortable! Front desk lady was super sweet and nice, check in was super smooth . I love the facial amenities they gave as a female traveler! The breakfast is exceptional!!! They have matcha icecream, matcha bread and warabi! Can u believe it ? Most amazing was that there was a hydrangeas garden next to the restaurant, you can appreciate beautiful flower when you eat . Absolutely love this hotel !

Location is excellent! It’s right next to Kyoto train station. Exit via central exit, turn right and walk about 50m and you will see the hotel. Easy access for sightseeing via trains and buses. We were too early for check in hence Front desk assisted with our luggage and had them sent to the room while we went out to explore kyoto. Self check in was assisted by a staff. Overall a pleasant and fast check in. Room is very clean. Toilet and shower room are separated and wash basin is outside. This makes it very convenient for our family of 3 pax so we don’t hv to wait for each other to use the toilet/ shower/ wash up.

Best location and price. The lobby and room are both very beautiful, I feel like going back to 19 century, so romantic. The breakfast is very good too, even sake is provided. Will definitely stay here again next time in Kyoto.

My original room had issues with toilet and they offered me a superior one with much apologies. They addressed all requests in less than 5 min

Wonderfully situated hotel. Extremely convenient and easy fm Kyoto station. Bus stops to all the famous spots.

Perfect location. 2 min walk to Kyoto station. However if you are traveling in 2 large  luggage with your spouse, you will really have to struggle for space.

Rooms are very very small , i need to pay for extra room fee for bigger room. Tv is very old and no any channel on Tv, internet is slow. I am not satisfied and not choose this hotel again.

Location is ideally situated beside the JR Station. We bought the Haruka Express Ticket and went down Kyoto Station. Hotel interior is bigger than most Japanese hotels. Even the rest room is bigger. Breakfast buffet has lots of choices. Super worth it. The Kyoto Tower is right beside the hotel. There are nearby malls also. Hotel staffs are very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is a 3 minutes walk from the Kyoto station. A lot of shops restaurants and bars are in walking distance. The staff is very friendly. I recommend the breakfast  buffet.
