It is not a typical hotel/motel, but rather a guesthouse outside the city.
There are no facilities for simple cooking (induction, microwave oven) in the room, the lighting is not bright, and there is no desk, so you cannot do document work at night.
There is no bathroom in the room, so you have to use the public bathroom.
The bed is soft and suitable for a narrow-minded stay.
The owner may not have professional reception skills, but she is very kind and trustworthy.
If it is your first time traveling to Kyoto, transportation may feel difficult, but it is not bad if you can tolerate a little inconvenience.

The price is very affordable and suitable for budget travel. The sheets, quilt covers, and pillowcases are all clean and smell-free. The only drawback is that it seems a bit far from the subway station, but it is very close to Dongshan, where there are many temples. The famous Nanzen Temple is also in Dongshan
