The service was excellent. Pick-up and drop-off at Kyoto Station. The courtyard was quiet. The coffee was delicious. The staff spoke fluent English. I haven't tried the bath yet due to personal reasons, but the hot spring was clean and odorless. Kyoto is very hot in the summer. The hotel also has an ice machine for tourists to drink cold drinks. It was very thoughtful.

Recommended! The location is excellent, a quiet escape amidst the bustle. Yasaka Tower is right outside the hotel, visible from the right. Kamogawa River is just down the road, and Shijo is very close.
This is a standard five-star hotel, with well-equipped rooms and excellent service.

We booked a standard room for two adults and a child (age 6), but it only accommodated two people, with no room for negotiation. We added a single bed for an additional 36,600 yen for two nights. The ambiance, cleanliness, and service were all excellent. The public onsen was very pleasant, and the hotel is within walking distance of Kiyomizu-dera Temple. The hotel also has its own shuttle bus, connecting to JR Kyoto Station and the Haruka bus to Kansai Airport. Overall, the experience was excellent and I'd definitely stay here again.
