There was no bath or toilet in the room, and even to go to the shared shower and toilet, we had to carry a card key with us, which was a hassle. People who are used to this system may not mind, but it was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The price was also cheaper, just 9,000 yen. The other three people who accompanied me were shocked that we booked such a cheap hotel. The online information should clearly state that "there are no toilets or showers in the rooms, they are all shared. Furthermore, you must carry your card key inside the hotel." There was no bed, just a folded mattress, a comforter, and sheets in the room. The atmosphere reminded me of a prison cell, and the moment I opened the door to the room, I screamed in despair. Come to think of it, there was no TV or alarm clock. A skeleton prison hotel that has been stripped down to the bare minimum! I was shocked at Sotetsu for coming up with such a hotel and wondering if they wanted to make money by doing such things.
