The hotel is very conveniently located - just a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station and close to subway stations. The surrounding area is surprisingly clean: everything is in the best traditions of Japan. The rooms themselves are quiet and cozy, no city noise is heard, even opposite the station. The room turned out to be exactly the same as in the photos: modern design, comfortable bed, work area and a good set of equipment, clean and tidy bathroom. Everywhere is impeccably clean, it is clear that the staff carefully monitors order. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The only negative is that I asked for a second blanket, but there was none. Nevertheless, overall I liked everything, and I would recommend the hotel for a comfortable stay in Kyoto.

M’s Kyoto Station TARUYA Hotel is a self-service chain business hotel. After booking, the hotel will email you the “check-in code and hotel door alarm password”, which are required for check-in and check-out (the display screen for check-in has noon option). There will be staff at the front desk to provide guidance at 3 pm, and the rest of the time they are doing cleaning work.
The hotel is a 15-minute walk from Kyoto Station, and can also be reached by bus in front of Kyoto Station. Accommodation in Kyoto during the cherry blossom season is very expensive, so we had to choose M’s Kyoto Station TARUYA Hotel as the second best option. It is located in a quiet alley in Taruya-cho, Nishi-Honganji Temple, Shimogyo-ku, and has a century-old restaurant. The criss-crossing alleys lead in all directions, and there are bus stops and convenience stores just outside the alleys. The night view of Toji Temple is within walking distance... The four-night stay was very good, the room was clean and quiet, and it was a wise choice that saved money!

We enjoyed our stay at M’s Hotel. At night, From the train station we will walk to AEON mall before going back to the hotel. There’s a big grocery store there that sell fresh sashimi/sush and other ready to eat take outs. My husband had so much joy picking all the seafood he would like to eat and pair them with a can or two japanese beer. I love the seared mackerel and rice and brew my own matcha tea (provided by M Hotel) in the room. We ate dinner in our room During our 2 nights there. So lovely!!!!! We really enjoyed our stay! We would love to come back in the near future!
