The Togetsutei Hotel is right next to the Togetsutei Bridge. You can see the Togetsutei sign on the bridge after walking across the Togetsutei Bridge from the commercial street. You can feel the sense of historical sedimentation from a distance. The hotel facilities are old, but well maintained. One of our rooms is a private bath suite with a semi-terrace, which is unexpectedly beautiful and the room I am most satisfied with on this trip. The kaiseki dinner was a little simpler and not as rich as I expected, which is a bit regrettable, but everything else is perfect.

There are relatively few hotel options in Arashiyama. It is 800 meters walk to the subway. The breakfast is simple but of good quality. The room is relatively new. Overall, it is very good, a little bit expensive

The room is great. There is also a private bath. The meal is also great. The experience is great. The waiter is very nice. The hotel is in a great location. The center is right outside. You can get to the hotel right after getting off the rafting. There are also yukatas for taking photos.

The cypress bathtub needs to be turned over or replaced, and the public restroom has a certain history and needs to be replaced. The only drinks in the refrigerator are beer and sake, and payment is required. We stayed at similar hot spring hotels elsewhere in Japan, and all food and drinks were all-inclusive. With updated facilities and better services. This experience can be considered qualified, but at this price, it is not worth recommending.
