The ryokan is superb!!! Old-fashioned cosy home vibes. Very near Kyoto Tower and the train & bus station interchange! Cleanliness wise - has a teeny bit of flaws but still good overall. Thank you! I would like to stay there again next time I am in Kyoto!

I had a great time. Very close to the subway station (about two minute walk) and they store luggage for you if you arrive before 4 PM. I had an easy time making day trips to Nara and Arashiyama. The service was excellent and I enjoyed the public baths. There was one night where construction was really loud, but the next night was great! I'd also recommend adjusting the room temp if it gets chilly with the thermostat.

It satisfied my long-cherished wish to live in a tatami room. The room has the smell of bamboo or grass, which is very nice. There is a teapot and small desserts in the room. The location is just opposite the central exit of Kyoto Station. You can go around from Lawson on the west side or cross the road from the underground to the opposite side (but there is no elevator upstairs, which is not convenient for luggage). It is convenient to take a bus or JR. The subway and Shinkansen are a little further away. The bathroom has a bathtub for soaking, but the only inconvenience is that there is a risk of slipping barefoot in the bathroom. I didn't buy breakfast when I booked the hotel. I wanted to book it on the spot and asked about it, but I found out that it can't be booked on the spot because they need to prepare the amount of food in advance. The hotel is free to store before check-in on the day, and free to store until 3 pm after check-out. 300 yen will be charged for overtime. You need to take off your shoes and wear their slippers when you enter the lobby of the hotel. Shoes are stored in the shoe cabinet next to the front desk.

This is an old hotel. The breakfast is very good. The rooms are a bit old. There is a hot spring bath in the basement for bathing. Walking out of the hotel is the underground street of shops. There are many restaurants nearby and it is very convenient to get there. If you want to experience Japanese-style accommodation and cuisine, it is worth staying here.

It is just opposite Kyoto Train Station, very convenient. Highly recommended for quick travel, but the room smells a bit when you enter, you can open the window. It will be fine after opening it for a while

The location and service were really good, but it was very old ㅠㅠ … .. Other than that, it was good, but they were really kind and they even kept my luggage for me, which was nice!!!

Just opposite Kyoto Station, very convenient

First of all, the location is really good as it is right in front of Kyoto Station, and I stayed in a really quiet place considering it was in front of the station. I think the public bathhouse originally had 4 rooms, but since it is currently under renovation, only the men's and women's baths are available for use. However, the shower space is small, with about five seats, and we were lucky enough to have it to ourselves as we went when there were only a few guests staying. I also had fun wearing traditional bathrobes. I enjoyed the breakfast, and I am satisfied with the friendly assistance provided by the staff. (For your information, that refreshment was really delicious!!)

It's very old-school, 70's feel, but it's great, I really like this nostalgic feeling. Clean, comfortable tatami, very quiet, and the location is good. The front desk is very polite

Disadvantages: 1. The facilities are old and there is a musty smell in the room 2. The service management is backward. The door must be locked at 12 o'clock in the evening (like a student dormitory). The door key must be returned every time you go out and you can get it at the front desk next time you come back Advantages: 1. It is very close to Kyoto Station, but there are other hotels with the same price and good hardware facilities for 20 years in just a few steps

I really like the tatami and the grassy smell in the room. The service is thoughtful and polite. The hotel is conveniently located, opposite the station, and it is very convenient for eating and shopping. Highly recommended!
