We stayed in Naraya House for 1 night and it was perfect. The staffs were all very kind and helpful that I am truly grateful for all their assistance given throughout our stay. We had a suite, rm no.206, it was stunningly amazing! I only know I am booking a suite with a beautiful view of the yubatake and private onsen. I didn't know it's a gigantic duplex suite with the best view of the yubatake! The room door opens to a western style living and dining area that fits with a set of sofa for 6 and a dining table for 4 with 2 benches. To the left of this western style area is 2 double beds, a walk-in closet and a toilet. I could see Japanese syle beddings in a cupboard which I believe they would be made when the room is booked for more than 2 persons. Facing the sofa is a TV panel. Behind the TV is a Japanese style sitting area with a coffee table and a view of the yubatake. The view is picturesque. There you can also find a stairs going down to the suite's private onsen bath. It's actually on a balcony overlooking the yubatake, the same gorgeous view as in its Japanese style sitting area above, just without the windows, ie closer and clearer picture of the yubatake without reflections. But be aware ppl on the street can see u too, as you can see the windows r just next to 7.11 The meal provided was fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the freshly made sushi. The salmon roe was just so fresh that they were actually shining like marbles. All the ingredients used are high quality. My kid, who is usually picky on food, was pleased with the menu. He already wanted to come back again. Next time, we will stay here for more nights in order to better experience the beauty of Kusatzu. Ps I usually don't bother to write a review, I am doing this one in return to the hotel's great service and hospitality. Thank you and until next time~

Clean, Nice hotel, Great staff, Great location. Dinner and breakfast was excellent. Both onsen was nice, we enjoyed it very much. If the onsen with view then will be perfect. Probably will revisit this hotel again

The location is very good. The hot spring is very comfortable

The ancient charm and the hard work of the staff in maintaining it allow visitors to experience the charm of 140 years. The daily meals are so exquisite that you can't bear to eat them. The exquisite menus are taken home for storage. Although the hot spring area is not large, the number of guest rooms is not large, but it is still very comfortable. There are also single hot spring rooms that can be reserved for families.

The hot spring hotel is very close to Yubatake. The Yubatake is beautiful at night. The hotel's Keishi cuisine is delicious and well presented. There is also a QR code for breakfast and dinner to let you scan and explain what each dish is. They are very attentive. The hot springs are also very comfortable. They are switched between morning and evening, so you can soak in the hot springs on both sides. The waiters were very nice and provided warm hospitality. I will definitely stay here again next time I have the opportunity.

The room is quite standard, Japanese style, 140 years old, right in Yubatake, very worthwhile to stay, two meals included, the food is exquisite, the quantity is sufficient, especially the all-you-can-eat sushi made on the spot for dinner. Highly recommended.

Friends who like to experience Japanese style can consider this century-old hot spring hotel. The hygiene is very good, the environment is elegant, the service is considerate, the cooking process has a sense of ritual, and the service is in place.

The price-performance ratio is very low, and the claim of being the best soup of the day is completely wrong. The facilities are outdated, the food is the worst I have ever eaten in similar hot spring hotels, and the service is also average.

The facilities are old, the layout is unreasonable, up and down, intricate. The view of Yijing Hotel next door is much better. When I checked in, the suitcase sent me and my parents' room upside down, and the distance between the two sides was too far, so I had to drag the front desk staff to move it together. English communication skills 0 ... I won't come again in this life, 6700 a night, my parents scolded me to death. Waiting for the front desk to carry luggage at 8:30 in the morning, and waiting for 25 minutes without any guests checking out... The dinner service staff is very good, plus points!
