Popular Kunshan 4-star Hotels

This hotel is really the most comfortable hotel I stayed in during my trip from Nanjing to Suzhou and then to Zhuang Zhou. The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic. She picked us up and sent us to the room. The hotel is 20 meters away from the entrance, which is super convenient and not as noisy as the scenic spot. The room is very beautiful and the decoration is very delicate. You can see that it is very attentive. The children especially like it. Highly recommended

This is a great hotel, centrally located in Kunshan and right opposite a magnificent, huge wet market. There are also plenty of eating options nearby and a park behind the hotel which make the setting ideal. The room is fine without being luxurious and the breakfast is also perfectly adequate, Chinese style. There is a beautiful outdoor area adjacent to the breakfast lounge, perfect for children to play while parents relax in the sun. Service is friendly and I would heartily recommend this hotel.

I am absolutely in love with this hotel! First of all, the hotel is located inside the scenic spot. One of the staff called me in advance to arrange a time to pick me up at the entrance of the scenic spot. My Chinese is not good so normally it's very awkward for me to speak over the phone in Chinese but she was very patient with me which I appreciate. Not only did she escort me to the hotel but she also carried my luggage for me. The decor inside the hotel has a beautiful, rustic asthetic which matches the feel of the ancient town. I really like table and chairs in my room, overlooking the pond. The pond also has koi fish and turtles! It was a beautiful touch that added to the overrall feel of the hotel. I loved these little details such as theovely traditional Chinese tea set (with a variety of complementary loose tea leaves), and the stylish coffee mugs. Unfortunately I came to Zhouzhuang during a severe typhoon which caused a leak and power cut in my room, so when I alerted the staff, they immediately gave me a new room. They even helped me pack my things so I can change rooms as soon as possible. The new room I went to was equally as beautiful. Not only is the hotel beautiful but it also has great amenities. Both rooms I stayed in had a stone bathtub which were both very deep -you could float it in! If you come here, I would recommend you bring some bubble bath with you like I did for maximum relaxation. I also made good use of the pool. The pool is a little small and a bit too shallow for an adult, but you can still have an enjoyable swim. Lastly, the tea room and cafés are also a nice addition to the hotel. My second room didn't have a table and chairs like the original one I booked, so I went to the tea room to eat my breakfast. It's also a cozy and comfortable room just to relax in if you're feeling lazy. As I have mentioned throughout this review, the service is second to none. Not only did the staff help me get to the hotel, but after I checked out they also carried my luggage and escorted me to the taxi. Throughout my stay I was offered fresh fruit and coffee several times, and as I mentioned earlier, I was immediately helped when I had to change my room. Whenever I struggled to communicate in Mandarin, the staff would try their best to speak English or would be patient with my hesitation or mispronunciation in Mandarin. This is probably the best ever service I have experienced on my travels. In summary, it's a beautiful hotel, in a convenient location with great facilities and helpful and kind staff. Not only will I come back again (and with my family next time) but I will recommend all my friends and colleagues to stay at this hotel if they ever plan to visit Zhouzhuang.

❗❗❗Don't be misled by the photos and comments on Ctrip. You must carefully distinguish whether you are staying in an old house. Old houses have poor conditions, poor hygiene, and low prices. I stayed in an old house during the National Day holiday, and it was a little damp. ❗The most important thing❗The hotel deducted the deposit. This is the first time I have encountered this after staying in so many hotels. Overall, I feel sorry for the four stars. There was also a small episode. When I plugged in the USB port to charge, sparks appeared, causing all six rooms in the entire building to be connected to the power.

The bed was very comfortable, and the stay was definitely price-worthy. However, the cleanliness of the common areas left much to be desired. The hallway and elevator were not well-maintained, which was disappointing. Overall, the room itself was good, but the cleanliness of the shared spaces could be improved.

The hotel is located at a train station and that’s convenient for some, but the sound isolation is not great. The sound of the trains goes through the windows and can keep you awake.

Pet-friendly travel: an idyllic holiday for your furry friends. It was my first time staying at a resort with my dog, and the experience was far beyond my expectations! Contact the housekeeper in advance to confirm the pet policy. The courtyard room I stayed in has its own independent small courtyard, where the dog can run freely. The housekeeper also thoughtfully recommended the surrounding routes suitable for dog walking - the plank road through the village, or a stroll on the stone road of Jinxi Ancient Town in the evening. The furry friends were excited and wagged their tails the whole time! The design of the public area of ​​the homestay is also very considerate, and the outdoor hot pot restaurant allows pets to accompany meals. The pork belly and chicken hot pot 🍲 ordered was delicious and tasty. The furry friends also ate it with relish. The soup base was very fresh and I will come back for other soup bases if I have the chance. Highly recommended to parents who want to enjoy a slow life with their pets~”

The lady at the front desk was very gentle. Because there were so many people, she was very nice. If it weren't for the road repairs at the door, I would definitely not be able to stay at the current price. My family was very happy staying here

First time staying at Courtyard by Marriott Kunshan. Overall, I recommend it. The room rate is more favorable on weekends. The check-in procedure is smooth. The room is standard and well maintained. The room towels and bedding are comfortable. The location is close to the subway station. You can take the subway to Shanghai or Suzhou. There is a small park in front. It is close to the elevated road and it is fast to go to Central. It is a well-established brand hotel with online service. It is the first choice for your next business trip!
