This is true to all Nikko hotels. Front and Bell services are so much reduced to earth and they are practically of no help except courtesy.

*Excellent Stay at Hotel Nikko Kumamoto* We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Nikko Kumamoto, booked via (link unavailable)! - *Cleanliness*: The hotel was spotless and well-maintained. - *Rooms*: Our spacious Japanese-style twin rooms were comfortable and relaxing. - *Location*: Perfectly situated, with Tsuruya department store and Kumamoto Castle within walking distance. - *Customer Service*: The staff provided excellent service, friendly and helpful. This is our second time to stay at this hotel. We surely stay here again if I visit Kumamoto again.  Overall, we highly recommend Hotel Nikko Kumamoto for its great location, comfortable rooms, and exceptional service. 5 stars!

3rd hotel stay over our 12-day Kyushu self-drive holiday. Decent and conveniently located beside 'walking food street'

very comfortable hotel spacious room. classic interior decoration clean and quiet excellent location can take line 1 all the way from Kumamoto JR station to the hotel quite close to Kumamoto Castle(walking distance) easy to find delicious restaurants we will definitely come again

Near Tram station and shopping street, room and facility are Japanese standard nothing special compared to the price.

Please aware if you decide to park at Nikko, they offer parking at 13:30-next day 1130 , unlimited access for 1500 yen. We didn't know that, and we got into the parking at. 1315, the hotel reception told us that we need to pay extra hour because of it. When we checked out, they told us they waived the extra hour fee cause they should have informed us. Hotel is decent, clean n in good location. Service is well and staff are very helpful.

It is very good for family trip. Location is perfect. Airport bus shuttle arrival in opposite side of Hotel. Nearby have many department store, shops, restaurant. Traffic very Good and convenient. Have tram, bus, taxi. You can see the Kumamoto Castle.

the service is good. breakfast is ok but nothing really outstanding yet there is a lot of choices . The room is a little small , well maintained but it should be a old hotel. Location ok
