I love the view. The staff is ao friendly. My room got upgraded from 2bed to 3bed. Thanks to the staff but i cant remmber his name . Thank youuuuu so much really appreciate the staff , view and all during my staff with my family

There is a place called Valentine Roti nearby that we really really liked. Good food and kind staff. Just a few minutes walk, you shortcut through the park past the river and down a back street to get there. Open till around midnight. Great roti and chicken and fresh pressed juice. Also a 7-11 same street opposite end and there’s a restaurant next door. Enjoyed feeding cats nearby. What we didn’t like was that they charge RM30 to use the pool. I was allowed out on deck to take a photo but a couple days later a different guy wouldn’t let me like just take a quick photos kind of cheapskate vibes but other than that everyone was really nice. The security guards were super nice. I would definitely stay there again just even just didn’t be near the roti place. 😇

The location is quite convenient because we came all the way from KLCC via link bridge, and it's just a stone's throw away from Hang Tuah MRT station and Pavilion Bukit Bintang. The staffs are friendly and I really appreciate the small complimentary birthday surprise they made for my partner :) The breakfast is also nice with many choices available, but I hope the team will improve the food itself as some of the food tastes bland. However, I did enjoy the stay at Novotel and will choose to stay again for my future trips :)

Overall had a wonderful experience in Ascott, The rooms were big and comfy, had a kitchen & huge living rooms. The balconies were big but not really maintained as the floors were a little dirty and the building was a little old. The toilets were huge and the bath tub was longer than usual which made soaking in it much more comfortable. However, the balcony doors had a little issue with staying closed and the we found a roach in the kitchen cabinets. Overal 9/10 would stay again, price is a little steep & the air conditioning isn’t very strong. Do note that parking is 10RM, requires room card validation. ( no free parking )

Not a very pleasant stay for the following reasons: 1.staff behave as if the announcement on pay reduction has just been made. At breakfast, once past the checkpoint for room number, no staff can see us, as we are not Caucasians. Those waiters in yellow tops choose who they show to the tables, who to make eye contact with. I felt I had Harry's cloak of invisibility on. 2. Some water/sewerage work made the toilet bowl in the room flush Teh tarik from midnight of 19 Mar. Gross. By morning of 19 Mar, water from the sink tap was yellowish and then brownish. 3. Brealfast tasted bad. Fishball Tom yum noodle served bad fish balls and cold Tom yum soup. Even omelette from egg station wasn't cooked well enough. Orange juice is fake, just syrup that was inconsistently mixed. 4. Receptionist requested MYR 200 per night as deposit. So, for a 2-night stay, pay 400. This is a place I will never go back to. Staff wear coloured lenses. They don't know about service at all. And hotel feels dated and old. Uninspiring. Maybe only the large pillow is worth hugging and praising.

Our stay started on a great note with warm hospitality, a smooth check-in process, and even an unexpected room upgrade. However, the experience took a turn upon entering the room, where we were greeted by an unpleasant smell—reminiscent of ”fried oil” from kitchen ventilation. It seemed as though the exhaust system had redirected the odors into our room rather than out. The smell intensified by morning, prompting us to inform the front desk after returning from breakfast. They sent someone to address the issue, but communication was challenging as he didn't fully grasp the problem. He sprayed something, but the odor persisted. When we returned from swimming, the issue remained, so we contacted the front desk again. This time, a more experienced staff member immediately recognized the strong odor upon entering the room. The engineering team suspected it was due to the lounge above and recommended a room change. The front desk assisted with the move, though interestingly, the new room did not maintain our initial upgrade. Nevertheless, the change resolved the issue, and we could finally enjoy our stay. Beyond the room issue, the water park, swimming pool, and kids' play area were highlights. We appreciated the presence of attentive staff ensuring safety—constantly reminding guests to avoid running on wet floors and enforcing necessary restrictions. We also dined at the pool bar, where the food was delicious, though on the pricey side. The portions were generous, making it somewhat justifiable, and the overall experience there was enjoyable. Unfortunately, the checkout process had a minor setback. I was overcharged, but due to time constraints, I couldn’t address it on the spot. After following up with Trip.com, I was informed that the hotel would refund the difference. Overall, the service at check-in, the pool bar, and from various staff members was commendable. Despite the room odor and overcharge issue, the stay was enjoyable, thanks to the excellent hospitality and well-maintained facilities. However, it raises concerns about how a room with such a strong smell was assigned in the first place. Addressing these minor setbacks would make for an even better guest experience.

It’s fully equipped with the latest Technogym equipment, catering to all types of workouts, whether cardio, strength, or functional training. The space is spotless, well-maintained, and an absolute pleasure to use. The breakfast buffet is a feast for the senses, with a wide range of delicious choices to suit all palates. From freshly baked pastries to flavorful local delicacies and international favorites, every dish was impeccably prepared. The quality and variety were simply outstanding. Overall, EQ Hotel stands out for its combination of luxurious facilities, delicious food, and exceptional service. The friendly and professional staff, especially the bellboys, add a personal touch that makes the experience even more memorable. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, EQ Hotel is the perfect choice in Kuala Lumpur. I can’t wait to return!

The hotel environment and staffs are very wonderful. The staffs are friendly and very warm welcome. I was late checked in but they have 24 hours service for reception counter and their service is very efficient and fast check in too. I stayed for 3 days 2 nights and the location is really good which is nearby LRT train station and easy access for public transportation. The hotel is so nice decorative, clean and outstanding. The food is so fresh, delicious and variety of food for buffet breakfast too. I’m so fortunate coz I have the opportunity to watch a Lion Dance on 2nd day of Chinese New Year festival. I always love to return for staycation at the hotel. It is highly recommended for staycation and business too.
