Chaweng Cove Beach Resort - Photo Gallery

My friend and I stayed here for 6 days and really enjoyed it. It’s a peaceful, family-friendly resort — most guests were older or families with kids, but it was never noisy. The soundproofing is great, AC worked non-stop without issues, and you can keep devices running even after leaving the room with your key card. Beach towels, robes, umbrellas, and slippers are provided for free. The room was clean enough to walk barefoot (yes, tested with white socks!). Daily amenities like toothbrushes, cotton swabs, and soap came sealed, and shampoo/shower gel was always stocked. There’s a veranda with a table and chairs, plenty of storage, and a mini bar priced fairly. Breakfast is decent, coffee was great. Staff are friendly, though they may knock even with the “Do Not Disturb” sign on. 7/11 and juice stalls are right outside, and it’s about 15–20 mins to central Chaweng on foot. You can get massages, tours, taxis, and currency exchange nearby. The beach might be the best in Chaweng — calm, clean, and safe for kids to swim. We were very satisfied and would definitely stay again.

A fantastic hotel that, when booked well in advance, offers reasonable rates. Great service. Great amenities. Nice atmosphere. There was construction happening at the restaurant that ran into the first night of my stay but once addressed with reception it didn't happen again. They even offered to change my room but I didn't need to. The place offers motorbike rentals at rates comparable to others in the area. Nice pool, beach area, and breakfast. Small but sufficient gym. Forgot to take room photos.

Overall it was good. We booked a garden view bungalow, but changed it to a seaview room and that was the best design. Thanks to the stuff. Breakfast was just okay. The beach was really close and that was the best part!

We liked our stay in this place very much! The hotel is right on the beach, very green terrotorry, small bungallows surrounded by palms and greenery, 20 m to the beach from our bungalow. The sea and the beach very good,better than other hotels nearby. The staff was always friendly and helpfull. Breakfasts were good, the only thing I missed is cheese abscence, everything else were very good and delicious. There is a beach bar in a hotel, possible to order drinks and coctails, they offered different promotions and happy hours every day.

Excellent hotel! We were there in July 2025, I specifically chose a resort in Thailand for a summer vacation with my school-age son. I arrived and was delighted, there was no scorching heat, and the humidity was not that high. There were no mosquitoes or midges at all, even nearby on the streets. The hotel is very good, the sea is amazing, the beach is what an ideal beach should be. Fine sand and a good entry into the sea. The sea bottom is excellent, the water is clear, you could see small fish. The hotel has a wonderful territory, we took a room in a building with a balcony, a wonderful view of the sea. The room has umbrellas, a chic beach bag, rubber slippers and all sorts of other nice little things. Clean, beautiful. The hotel territory is small, but such that you will walk around and find all sorts of beautiful locations for photos. The pool is good. Everything I saw was clean, well-groomed and thought out. Friends lived in a bungalow by the pool, although they initially booked a superior room, there were simply no others when booking. But they were settled three in a bungalow, just like that. Breakfasts are good, but it could have been a little more varied. We went on an excursion to two islands: pigs and snorkeling. Our boys, 15 years old, were happy, this excursion cost 2 times less in the hotel. It's okay for a change, although the trip on an authentic boat seemed a little dangerous. But it is not so. There were enough sun loungers on the beach, if there were none, the workers immediately installed them. The staff takes great care of the hotel guests. Everyone is nice and sweet. We went to many salons for massages. All the massage therapists do things differently, but most are good. In the hotel on the street side there is a 7-Eleven and a fruit shop. We bought something for lunch and dinner in 7-Eleven, they will warm it up for you right there, if you don't want to go to a cafe. And the fruit shop is all about vitamins, very tasty fresh juices from 60 baht and up, they will cut the fruit, pack it, a complete delight. Now we have moved to another hotel for five days, I will compare, I didn’t even want to move, we just made a reservation earlier.

The hotel looks unremarkable but is very nice inside. Don't choose the superior room on the roadside, it's very noisy, and don't choose the room by the pool, it's also noisy. We changed to the small single-family house inside, which is very quiet. The hotel leads directly to the beach, there are performances in the evening, and breakfast is also eaten at the beach. It is very good and cost-effective.

We lived in the main building in a Superior room, the windows overlook the road, there is a 24-hour 7/11 right below in this building. There is no balcony, you can hear the noise from the road, but overall it does not interfere with sleep. Pros: good, well-kept, legal territory, excellent multi-level pool. View restaurant where breakfast is served. Breakfast is good, no frills. Sun loungers, umbrellas on the beach, everything is great. Rating very good. One of the best hotels in its price category, next to Mercure. Cons: no iron at all, relatively far from the center of nightlife, but this can be a plus. Tired furniture and a damp smell in the room.

Hotel on the 1st line, Chaweng beach. This was a priority when choosing. Sunbeds and umbrellas from the hotel, free of charge. But finding a sunbed at 9.00 in the morning is already a problem. Beach boy - who could put a sunbed extra, I saw a couple of times and then with a very unhappy face! Breakfasts: the choice is small, but everything is delicious. For a 3-star hotel - this is a good breakfast. The hotel territory is thoroughly washed, looked after perfectly. Beautiful. Bungalow and main building. The choice is yours). Main building - I had a deluxe room with a balcony, a view of the bay, a very large balcony, chairs made of natural wood, nice. The linen is clean, towels are changed daily, everything is delivered (water, chopsticks, toothbrushes, soap). Of course, the hotel is not new, this is visible, there are many sharp corners in the room, not enough space where you can put things, but you quickly stop noticing it with other beauty. The air conditioner works well. There is a supermarket nearby, the best fruit shop in Chaweng, they make magical smoothies. I highly recommend the massage parlor, which is in the hotel building, I went there every day. The beach is gorgeous, white sand, there are low tides, but it is not critical, you have to walk about 70 meters to the depth. The water was clear. There were no jellyfish, etc. Only small fish swam in schools. There are simply no sidewalks in Chaweng. It is very uncomfortable to walk to Central Samui (25-30 minutes). But you can take a sangteo (100 baht). I would like to be able to take beach towels from the beach and return them there. Not drag them to the room, from the room. Have a great holiday everyone!
