The rooms are lovely and spacious. It has a nice swimming pool that is suitable for all ages. Staff are very friendly and helpful, but service in the restaurant is a bit slow. Located on a lovely beach, where you can also take beautiful photos of the sunset.

Among the best beaches on the island, can enjoy a nice kajak trip or paddle board without spending too much. F&B to be improved, don’t expect luxury. Staff does its best but can smile more

I really liked the hotel, we lived in a house near the sea, it was clean, cozy, the staff was attentive, when they saw that you didn’t understand, they turned on the translator on their phone 😂😂😂 in the restaurant you can use toasts, tea, coffee, buns, croissants and other things for free all day, thanks to the hotel🙏

The accommodation is clean, the service is good, and the food is delicious.

The environment is elegant, the beach is clean and pollution-free, and the location is a bit remote. You can still go out for a stroll.

I really liked the hotel, we lived in a bungalow on the beach. Everything in the hotel is thought out, showers on the beach, at the entrance to the veranda, and for 3* this is very good, clothes dryers, water, tea for free all day in the restaurant area. The beach is small, but it is cleaned, there are sun loungers, mattresses, and beach towels. We were there in February, there was a high tide in the afternoon, the sea was shallow and there were rocks. But when the tide is high, you can see fish in the rocks, some corals and fish under the pier. The hotel has its own pier and is brought directly to it by speedboat. There are shops and cafes within walking distance, just walk up the street from the hotel. You can rent a motorbike right at the hotel, it’s 50 baht more expensive than on the street, but it’s close to housing. Breakfast is normal, they provide fruit. It's rare to find such a cozy hotel. Thanks to the entire hotel team for their work!

Poor service staff does not welcome customers.

My second time in SeaFar- the most beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Staff is welcoming and warm. The beach is sooo beautiful- same goes for the restaurant and coffee shop. So if you look for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend SeaFar😍

Well, after a lot of searching we finally found a place on the beach, away from the bigger resort areas, within our budget, and overall, we weren't disappointed. The good The location is ideal. Right on a stretch of gorgeous sand with a shallow stretch of sea protected by a shelf of rocks a hundred metres offshore. With young kids, nothing could have been better. Crystal clear waters, clean beaches, and just what the doctor ordered. The staff were very welcoming, and the resort provides free masks and snorkels as well as skiffs for up to three people to paddle out over the shallow sea. There are plenty of fish to see so it's definitely worth taking advantage of these. There's a great collection of tables, sun loungers, swings, and hammocks for you to use, and most have umbrellas to protect you from the harsh May sun. It was incredibly hot at this time and I don't think we were quite prepared for that. The staff were very responsive when we asked for some things to be fixed in the room, such as a missing towel rail from the bathroom, an iced-up fridge, a broken remote control. and these are were resolved within a day or two. Perhaps the best thing about the resort is the restaurant and bar. The food was, we thought, exceptional value and of really good quality. My daughter couldn't eat enough of the spaghetti with pork and tomato and the spaghetti with bacon and chilli is excellent. Also good value is the barbecue set which we had for lunch at least twice. There's enough for 3 or 4 people with just one set. The bar is a great place to relax in the evening though I wish they were a bit more imaginative and varied with their happy hour cocktails. The not so good I've mentioned the problems with the fixtures and fittings in the room. What I find annoying is that guests need to tell staff that a towel rail has been removed, and that the fridge is so iced up as to be unusable. For the price, these things should be checked at least between guest bookings. The wooden laminate flooring in the bungalows has been pretty badly warped and there are gaps between the ends of the boards. This doesn't give a good first impression but perhaps the most annoying thing about the room was the design of the bathroom which seems to have been done by someone with no sense of what should go where. When you open the door to the bathroom, it brushes the side of the toilet seat, which inevitably means the toilet seat is constantly loose. Mad idea to put a toilet just inside a door. I don't think I've ever come across a design like that before. The shower location and the way it's attached to the wall means that anything near the sink gets totally soaked unless you want to remove the shower from the fitting and hold it while you shower. I think a bit of care and effort when designing the bathrooms would have paid off. But perhaps the worst thing of all is the breakfast. Considering the main restaurant food is pretty good, you'd expect breakfast to be along similar standa

We can only comment on the bar but it was a superb one with great sunset views and fabulous cocktails and delicious snacks and very friendly staff, hence we made several trips there to enjoy the sundown. The location also very good and central if you are touring.

We were looking for a hotel in KHO KOOD away from pretentious luxury (with high rates in December) and well located. We opted for the SeaFar Resort for its location on Ao Tapao Beach and for having family rooms. The beach, the pier, the sunsets are simply delicious. It is a very familiar and simple hotel run by the omnipresent “Po” its manager who makes you feel welcomed at all times. The best thing about the hotel: Its location on the beach front where you can take a swim, walk, enjoy a drink at its beach bar and the fabulous sunsets. Also, with a motorcycle you can travel around the island without a problem. Its pier: not only because it gives it a special and authentic air but because from there you can take a boat and go to enjoy the neighboring islands and their fantastic beaches. They fix everything for you from the hotel itself and it is very worth it. The family treatment (even though in KHO Kood due to the type of island they lack a lot of service learning). It is compensated by the dedication of your Manager. At all times he helped us organize everything we needed. What would make it much more special: The breakfast is frankly very weak!!! Not only because of its very little variety but because the quality is very low. In bread, in fruit,… a shame!! Luckily there is the cafeteria that saved our coffee but obviously paying. Comfort and decoration: it is a hotel with a simple construction but that has left details and maintenance by the wayside. Rooms with a poor bathroom (without shelves to leave things, hangers, almost no light,...), poor lighting, parquet floors in poor condition,... With a little investment and good taste the hotel would undoubtedly earn a Star while maintaining its touch simple but comfortable and improving the quality/price ratio. Their restaurant is very good for days when you don't feel like going out. In our case we used the taxi service when we went with children to discover the restaurants in the area. It seems strange that at night the entire staff is in the beach bar with their music. I think it takes away from the professionalism. I understand that it is a family hotel but… I would recommend it if you are looking for something simple as well as authentic without many pretensions.
