Hotels near Ban Bang Bao, Koh Chang

The accommodation is very good but the service is a bit bad. When checking in and booking from the app, they asked us to pay more, but we didn't like it. We had to wait for a very long time.

I want to talk about this unusual hotel experience: I booked a round-trip ticket from Bangkok Airport to Koh Chang. It was said that it was delivered to the hotel. In fact, it can only be delivered to Lonely Beach. The road behind is not included. We took a Texi (similar to tu tu) 100B per person from Lonely Beach to the hotel. At the fork in the road, the driver put us down and pointed to the sign of the hotel on the side of the road and said, ”Go into this path.” So we were very happy, thanked the driver and walked on the side road. After walking five hundred meters, we started to feel silly. We felt like we had walked into a village. Except for the trees on both sides, there were occasional houses. The more we walked in, the more fearful we got. On the way, a villager on a motorcycle came to talk to us and asked where we were going. (Don't dare to talk nonsense, the guide says that you can't talk to passers-by, but you can't help but say, I don't know if the driver has been tricked) The villagers said that they would go a long way, and shook their heads and left. How could the hotel be far away? I don’t believe it, it can’t be seen from the map. We decided to continue walking, and asked another villager in the middle, or we should continue walking. I dragged my luggage for almost one kilometer, but I haven't found it yet. The more I walk in, the more fearful it is. At this time, an old man riding a three-wheeled motorcycle showed up and told us to get in his car and take us there for free. We were even more scared – old man? Tricycle? free? (Mom said that she can't talk to strangers) Not daring to go, a blond ghost girl driving a car came and asked where we were going. After talking to the old man, she told us to get into the old man's car. Come on, he seems to be in his 60s and 70s. We are very good that he should be able to fight him before. If I can't, I will pose and say I will scare him with Chinese Kung Fu. So we got on his tricycle, and the car drove up a small slope. The downhill was a small road with many monkeys running in the middle of the road. This frightened us both. Mama, how can we hide from the monkey~ My face turned blue, Just about to say something, the car stopped. The old man pointed to the front roof and said: Go down, this house is. It doesn't look like a black shop, but finally here? ! It seems to be here... I stuffed the old man with 40B and walked down quickly. Damn-I finally found you, luckily I didn't give up! Closer to home, the hotel faces the sea, spring flowers bloom, and the environment is very good! The breakfast is super delicious, comparable to the five-star hotels in Australia, and it is delicious and delicious. The hotel has a free car at a fixed time every day to take guests to Bangbao Fishing Village. It's best to rent a motorcycle, it's a bit inconvenient to get in and out. That was my second trip to Koh Chang and I stayed again in Beach box which is amazing! As for me there is nothing else you need by the beach. Nice bed, shower , fresh towels and Fan which works super well to the point you start freezing at night! the owner Kiwi is really really helpful, both him and his wife know how to take care of guests! 😊

The hotel area has a beautiful garden, the grounds are well taken care of, the pool is beautiful and clean, the breakfasts are excellent, the staff are friendly, a beautiful restaurant, if you want something cheaper, you can walk 10-15 minutes to more cheap places, a calm and quiet place for families, the entrance to the sea is in The area around the hotel is a bit rocky, but you can find a better place within a 5 minute walk. We were here for the second time, in 10 years the hotel has only gotten better, I will come back here again,

Although the hotel and it’s personal were excellent. I had a terrible interaction with an individual from the tour information office, which will determine me from staying again. I went into rent a motorbike, and they wanted to hold my passport during the rental. This wasn’t something I wanted to do. I noticed in the ledger there were driver’s license and international permits. At this point, I informed them that I live in Thailand and had a Thai drivers license. The individual became visibly upset. They told me that they would not hold anything other than my passport for the rental, even if they had others drivers license, since it would be to easy for me to get away (flee). For them to openly and admittedly judge me different from other customers because I don’t look like them, was a big let down. Especially because everyone else was so polite and professional.

Good value for money. Bathroom and bungalow were very clean. The ladies who run the cottage were super nice and helped us a lot. There is also a scooter rental at fair local prices. Unfortunately no good access to the sea

The rooms are ok, although quite old. The resort is far from the pier but compensates by being next to the sea and having a quiet atmosphere. Overall, it is considered more than worth the price of hundreds of baht for tourist attractions on a long holiday like this.

The environment of the hotel is good and cost-effective, the breakfast is rich, and the scenery is watched while eating, it is very beautiful, it is close to the beach but can not swim, and it is 5 minutes drive from the lonely beach. The internal facilities of the room are better. The price of meals at the entrance is cheaper than Baishatan. There is no 711, but there are small shops opened by locals. There is a 200B a day for renting motorcycles opposite the hotel. The fuel is not included. It is very close to the pier to the sea, and the hotel is relatively close to the bangbao fishing village.

The accommodation is very simple and in places very run down, the cleanliness is acceptable. Despite this, I was able to sleep here without any problems and for the price you can't really get upset about unnecessary little things. Accordingly, I would recommend it to people who are not looking for extraordinary luxury, but are simply looking for cheap, passable accommodation.

Booked for 3239 rubles. We got a clean little house number 13. There is a refrigerator, toilet paper and soap in the house. It will do for an overnight stay. I do not recommend it for a long term stay. For the same price you can rent a luxury hotel nearby. In general, price/quality. Do not expect much from this place.
