Nice location, interesting building, lost in time but may be a bit quirky for the western traveler. Location is good and this is a very vibrant area The staff try to please and are super friendly but English communications are difficult. Rooms are quite big by Japanese standards and have updated bathrooms. Areas for improvement are there is no bar or bar lounge, You literally have to check in at the front desk before you can go to breakfast (which is really amazing to be candid especially if people are checking out and you have to wait ) The biggest hassle for us was the WiFi which reminds of twenty years ago dial up internet Slow speed and kicks you off mid stream and you literally have to log in again every time you go on Note to owners : Internet connectivity is seriously in need of major upgrade so if you need strong WiFi this will not well work for you
