Very traditional Japanese onsen hotel with high quality onsen water from golden soup. Spacious room with private onsen, nice view and privacy. Very delicious meals. Helpful and heartwarming staff. Recommended for couples and families.

This hot spring hotel is perfect, their service is excellent. My family and I have a really good experience in here and we all enjoy the special hot spring provided, though there is one thing to remind all of you, bring your towels from your room before going to onsen coz no towels will be provided in the onsen

Everything was amazing. Great dinner kaiseki was delicious. And breakfast also. Stuff was very friendly, speak english, always helped. Good location, if you go outside the ryokan you'll find a beautiful path through nature, and little local streets. I recommend you not to take transfer, but to go by yourself from the station enjoying views. Comfortable onsen with instructions for foreigners. For me it was memorable experience. I want ro visit this place again ☺️

Didn't realized it will be on top of a hill. We got delayed on our train from Kansai, hence arrived a bit late to Arima, tried to call for shuttle but was unsuccessful hence we run up the hill which we thought was just a small distance, but it was much, we've finally arrived to the hotel at 7:30pm a bit earlier than their published latest check in time of 8:00pm. We were told dinner won't be serve after 7pm, we rushed all the way for nothing. They should have also published that on the website to avoid people like us planning a trip to Arima to experience aside from the onsen but also for the traditional Japanese meals. Anyway, after negotiation they did served us the dinner and it was tasty and sumptuous. Aside from the small issue about the dinner, this place is clean & quiet, staffs were very nice and attentive, the onsen are relaxing and we got a very good night sleep. Will still recommend this hotel, but remember to tell them about your arrival time and book the shuttle bus.

Great value for money! We were very impressed with the amenities available in the room, as well as the service. Really enjoyed the dinner in the room and breakfast!

Highly recommended, the hotel has a pick-up service, the location is a little off but definitely worth it! Very traditional one night two meals and Japanese hot spring, absolutely worth the money!

We took an hour express bus from Osaka Station to Arima. We called the hotel front desk and a car came to pick us up in a while. The hotel is halfway up the mountain. Every staff member is very enthusiastic. When a young lady was preparing dinner in our room at night, I told her that the floor of the balcony was a little vibrating and noisy. I don’t know why. The young lady immediately reported the relevant colleagues. Another technician came to check the situation twice. After confirming that the noise disappeared and had no impact, he kept apologizing to us. The hotel’s open-air golden hot spring pool can be reserved. It costs 4400 yen for two people for 45 minutes. I was worried that 45 minutes would not be enough time. It turned out that I couldn’t hold on for 45 minutes and came out. I was so sleepy after the golden hot spring. Not long after dinner, I couldn’t lift my eyelids. I was so sleepy that I fell asleep before 10 o’clock. The dinner seemed to be small plates. My stomach was about to explode after eating. Although there were only three slices of Kobe beef, it felt better than the Kobe beef specialty restaurant I ate in Kobe City, which cost 30,000 yen per person. The breakfast the next morning was also very delicate and delicious. The only slight shortcoming might be that it was a little early, the latest one was 8:30 in the morning. Although this hotel is not as famous as some other hotels in the surrounding area, it is the most satisfying stop of my trip and I am very satisfied.

Surprise trip, great value for money This time I was lucky enough to book Huajie, located in the middle of the mountain. You can contact the hotel to send a car for pick-up, and the staff are willing to explain in English. Dinner is really delicious🥳

There was a shuttle bus and it was very easy to get to the hotel. We were able to eat meals in our room, so we were able to relax and enjoy our meals.

The hotel has a parking lot for those who drive. Although the hotel is located a ways away from the center of Arima Onsen and up the mountain, I personally think it is acceptable. The hotel provides dinner, the food quality is good.
