2-Star Hotels in Koh Lipe

This is a paradise for someone who really wants to relax and leave the messy world behind. This place is super private, calm, quiet, friendly staff, clean and not only room clean but everywhere is clean! Super close to the sunrise beach and only like 5 minutes away from walking streets and about 15 minutes away from sunset beach. This is perfectly place for me to enjoy and let go of the stressful things in my head. Super recommended! I will go back again FOR SURE!

Clean and comfortable dorm room (4 pax female dorm). Easy check in, great location, air con and a gorgeous cafe below which does some of the best coffee on the island. Would highly recommend for overall value for money. The road can get noisy in the evening due to its central location for light sleepers, but by midnight it’s pretty quiet.

Accommodation with good views, with the wind blowing all the time, not sticky, the beach is private, not crowded. Near the forest, but there are no mosquitoes because the wind blows all the time. Accommodation, although old, is clean. The stairs to the beach are not very steep. A short walk down, there is a private living accommodation at the end of the beach. The staff who serve breakfast are hospitable. Walking distance to the walking street, the road is good, not far away, there is a free car service when moving the accommodation as well.

We loved the traditional simple eco friendly style, the staff are all very lovey and great at their job. Everything is available for you to have a great time, they are very knowledgeable and only want you to have the best time! We loved the relaxed vibe and the dogs and cats that happily played and visited us each day. Amazing to have free snorkel and fins to use as the reef is right in front of the hotel. The only thing we would advise is ear plugs, if you are an early to bed kind of person, as we are, Koh Lipe has become more lively so expect a bit of music at night, but nothing too crazy!

The Chic Lipe is as it's name suggests chic and luxurious for a hostel. The private rooms are super spacious, some of the largest we've seen in a hostel, and come with a really modern bathroom and design. We loved the concrete walls and wooden interiors. The common area on the ground floor is also very spacious, has plenty of room to sit and chill and even 2 pool tables if you fancy a game. We were here in low season so it was very, very quiet but can imagine this place will be buzzing in high season. The breakfast was a choice of either western style or Thai style with both being good but we preferred the Thai style. We also hired the bikes for a day, but they are a bit old and not ideal for the hills on the island but all in all we still enjoyed using them for a day and would do this again. If you're on a budget on Koh Lipe this is definitely the place to be.

Location is great.. middle of 'walking street' with easy access to food, shops, 7eleven, money changers, etc... Easy access to beaches.. There is a big supermarket located at the base of the hotel as well.. room is just nice with huge bed.. staff is super attentive and very helpful.. breakfast service is ala carte but tastefully done.. top quality taste & presentation.. overall- hugely satisfied and highly recommended..

I booked for one night at the beginning, because it was troublesome to check out at sea the next day. The location was okay. After comparing the price, it was still cheap, so I stayed for two nights. The price was about 230, which was okay. After all, it was close to the beach and went to the pier. It’s just over 100 meters away from other hotels on the island. You can also try other hotels on the island. If you come alone and want to save money, you can stay here all the time. This one is suitable for those who want to save money and don’t care about the price. Chinese evaluation hope to help you

This is probably the best hostel I ever stayed in. You get: - a really big locker, with a refill water bottle, a towel, a beach bag and an umbrella - big bed with a small locker inside and curtains, 2 pillows and nice blanket - private bathroom for every room with hot shower - free water - free standard breakfast (toast, jam, coffee, tea) - swimming pool Further more it's located directly at the beach. Probably the only negative thing might be that the mattress is a little little bit too hard but I still slept fine.

The good: -It’s cheap (for Koh Lipe) but still nice -the AC works well -they provide two bottles of water each day and daily housekeeping— if you don’t want them to come in, they leave water, toilet paper, and fresh towels at your door -the people are really nice -the bakery and coffee shop downstairs are consistent -the rooms are a decent size and the TV has a couple movie channels -the water is heated well -the location is amazing— right next to Walking Street but still in a quiet area The bad: -my door did not close without pulling it hard, and twice I returned to find housekeeper left it full on open without realizing— even after instructing them to be sure it’s closed, it happened again, so I started putting my “Do Not Disturb” sign out -the water pressure isn’t great, but it works and it’s hot -the WiFi is a mess— I never did get it to work in 8 days—I’m just glad I was not dependent on it -the hose by the toilet was leaking so bad it flooded my bathroom—luckily, they left two additional towels each day, so I was able to just mop it up as needed -there isn’t a lot of light in the rooms— I preferred this, but don’t count on sunny beach windows
