Larger In size in comparing to the city hotel. It must have been very grand back in the days, it’s older in style and the buffet breakfast selection is amazing! Greeted by the front desk and concierge every time we passed by, you only get to see this in 4, 5 star hotel with well trained staffs nowadays. Parking was 1500yen per day and the gym and swimming are not free, in fact it’s costly, I remember it was around 2000-3000 yen per head per section. It is more like a membership type of facilities.

Big hotel close to Kokura station, 5 mins walk via elevated bridge. Many restaurants in the hotel. Top floor rooms are newly renovated, but overall a bit dated.

Centrally located to the main station; very accessible to shopping malls and all the good restaurants. Breakfast is also sumptuous.

Stayed on the 27th floor. Every 3-5 minutes, there is a 10-15 seconds of strange noise. reported to the hotel, they blame the lift for the noises. Unfortunately, the very disturbing noise appeared throughout our stay including very late at night.

amazing value and superb location. If fukuoka hotels are too expensive, i recommend staying 1 night here and explore the city.

The hotel facilities are less modern but well maintained and clean. It was close to the JR station with walking bridge connection. The receptionist for our check-in process made some mistakes when charging the city tax and did not explain the calculation to us at all. The problem was resolved later during check-out but it took a while to communicate with the staff in English.

not a brand new but high class hotel, facing coast of Kokura, big suite, somehow the most comfortable hotel I stayed during the trip in Kyushu as a solo traveller

very near kokura station! was pleasant. staff were friendly and helpful and room was well stocked. high floors had great views and big toilet. definitely would come back
