This time I stayed in a room with an open-air hot spring. Next door is the Kikuchi Valley. The water is extremely clear and it is really relaxing. The staff here are also very friendly, especially the foreign staff. I stayed for two consecutive nights. Unexpectedly, the dinner menu was completely different. It was delicious! All in all, it’s a great hot spring hotel!

The open-air bath attached to the room is large, with a crystal clear river just below and a thick, viscous water at just the right temperature. It felt so good I didn't want to get out, so I went in again and again. There was a wide variety of dishes for both dinner and breakfast, but the portions were just right and delicious. The inn felt quietly hidden away in nature, and you could hardly hear any noise from neighbors or cars, making it a really comfortable inn. It's easy to see why there are so many regular customers. I'll come again.

The private semi-open-air bath is a must-have! The environment is beautiful, built along the stream, and the facilities are mainly made of natural wood products, flowers and plants, and are antique. The rooms are functionally spaced and equipped with a private semi-open-air bath. The accommodation and two meals are very delicious. If you plan to visit Kikuchi Valley, it is definitely the best choice!

As the name suggests, this inn is located on a rocky area along the river. Because of that, I got the impression that there were many steps. You will need to climb stairs to enter the public bath and restaurant. I got a room with an open-air bath, but there are less than 10 steps to the bath. The rocky area of ​​the open-air bath in the room is slippery and there is no handrail between the washing area and the bathtub. I was very careful, but I fell while taking a bath after breakfast and hit my wrist and hip. Fortunately, nothing serious happened, but I don't think the pain and bruises will go away for a while. If you are unsure about your feet, we recommend that you carefully consider your room selection and consult with your hotel in advance. Because the work clothes in the hall were made of synthetic fibers, they did not absorb moisture such as sweat, and it was necessary to adjust everything with strings instead of rubber, which was troublesome and inconvenient. It's good that you recommend using up the toilet paper in consideration of the environment, but the paper holder was very difficult to use, so I gave up on replacing it. It's a high class, but how is it that you can't use credit cards or travel coupons at all? All the staff who took care of me in the hotel were very pleasant and gave me a good impression, but the customer service at the front desk was unfriendly and had a bad response. This time, I made full use of travel support and coupon discounts, so I think the price is reasonable, but I feel that the regular price is expensive. My personal impression was the worst because various problems overlapped. It was the second time I stayed, but I will not be indebted again.
