Great experience! Easy check in… very straightforward! Room and toilet very clean. Great location, close to old town, walking distance to center. Recommended.

The location is perfect, right by the old town square and main attractions but the carpet is heavily stained by bleach and dirt. As I arrived at the room, I found an open Champagne bottle from whoever had been staying the night before and the housekeepers forgot to take. That was very disappointing for the price. Breakfast selection was really poor and did not look fresh. I would not recommend this hotel.

This "hotel" is more like an Air B&B - there is no reception desk, and the room code is texted to you. Everything is done over a WhatsApp number, which they claim to be 24/7 but they only replied to my messages during normal hours. The parking only has 8 spaces in front of the property. Also, if you drive a GASOLINE powered vehicle you will be charged an emission zone fee of 2 Euros EACH TIME you drive into Old Town (which is where the property is located). The "hotel" did not tell me this enforcement by the city was in effect since September 2024 and were unprofessional in assisting me with paying all of the fees I owed when checking out. If you have EV, you do not need to pay this fee. I would not stay here again. A very basic place that claims to be something they are not.

Hotel does not have lift and reception. I had booked a standard double room and I was given an attic room on the 4th floor. You can only imagine the horror of dragging your 20kg suitcase to the 4th floor, nightmare!!!. Attic room doesn't have a lot of space to move and both of us banged our heads a couple of times at night with the ceiling. Since I was only there for 2 nights so I didn't wanna go through hassle of complaining and changing the room. Breakfast room had some cold meat, boiled eggs, stale bread and some 2-3 year old jams, The lady looking after the breakfast was nice but my review is about the quality of the food, I have had better breakfast in a 3 star hotel. The only positive experience was I arrived at 1:40pm and rang them, They sent me the room code and I was able to check-in at 2pm, an hour earlier than standard check-in time.

I stayed at a hotel for one night, in one of their suites, a night before my wedding.I would say, the hotel still needs to do a bit more work to justify that 4 star description. Positives: - comfortable bed, can’t complain, had a great night’s sleep! - AC - spacious room - spacious bathroom - great location Negatives: - security concerns. You need to input a code to open the door, which is great, except… the door during the day is not locked, and the door next to the entrance is open during the day as well (as it leads to the little cafe) so pretty much anyone could access the hotel during the day. - the breakfast was very underwhelming. Not much choice, the girl working there looked very bored and to be honest it was hard to find something filling to eat. The cheese, the meat, everything was not as you would expect at a 4 star hotel. And I am not a choosy person foodwise. - the carpet in the room needs some serious cleaning. When we were taking pictures, literally had to make sure the carpet doesn’t make an appearance :D - the jacuzzi tub works but like… it splashes so much! - and parking well… there is not much of it, but not really the hotel’s fault. We stayed at the Amberton for our friends wedding, our stay was very comfortable and in a great location, we were helped by Gorda a lovely girl on reception, if you need anything or any local information she is so helpful.

Bad experience at this hotel. First of all they gave us dirty towels. If I call registry tour, they give us better number. Thanks for that. In walking to the order number with breakfast included bed-and-breakfast they said we don’t have breakfast , we need to pay for breakfast. Call.

Pros: The location was perfect, the room (suite) was large, and comfy. Cons: There is no reception desk. The self check-in system they have in place is horrible and caught many people off guard, the staff were helpful at first, then not at all, and the restaurant was not open.

First, the good things about this hotel: one- a fantastic location, very close to the Old Town and within walking distance from the modern part of the city, parks, river, and most of the tourist attractions. Two: you can rent, free of charge, an electric scooter and have a ride on many cycling lanes and visit Kaunas that way. The restaurant had good ambiance, nice staff and served a decent dinner. Unfortunately, there is more bad things about the hotel. There is no human staff presence. There is no reception, everything is done by phone, you get a code, which opens the doors and for anything else, you have to ring a number. This might have worked but the phone in our room was broken, and we ended up having to ring from the UK mobile at international call rate. We were offered a different room, but we weren’t happy about its comfort. When you eventually manage to get through to someone, they will be helpful and react quite quickly, but it is an extra hassle. The cleaning is ordered by pressing a button on a device on the wall, otherwise no one will come to do it. You also check out by pressing a button on the same device. All this is not very clear, the device is behind the door. It would be better if there was a kind of an information pack in the room to explain this. The room itself was on the fourth floor with no lift. Fine for fit people, especially if you have to carry your suitcase upstairs, but not so much if you have a mobility problem. As the room was in the attic, it had a sloping ceiling so if you are a tall person, you might have a problem moving about. Curtains were a shambles, impossible to draw across the whole (arched) window. Wardrobe tiny, not to hold clothes for two people, even for a short stay. Television did not work properly. No city map which normally would be offered by the reception. No hooks or shelves in the bathroom so nowhere to put your things. For a water bottle, which normally is complimentary in 4* hotels, you will be charged 4 EUR. Breakfast was quite varied and good for continental guests. If you are used to having your cereal, you might have to ask the staff to especially give it to you. Whatever is lacking, the restaurant staff will do their best to provide it for you. However, this is not a standard you expect from a four-star hotel. So, all told, it was not a bad stay but lacked 4-star class.

We were afraid of the automatic check-in system - but everything turned out to be fine. We were afraid of the location - it's excellent. And parking without problems. But the hotel itself... It's three stars at best. Humidity and mustiness of the air, noisy ineffective air conditioner, uncomfortable beds and synthetic blankets with flattened pillows, plumbing is very tired... Breakfast is also weak, it would have been better to give a flyer to some restaurant in the area.
