Spa Hotels in Karuizawa

We stayed in a room accommodating 3 people. The sofa bed is big in principle big enough for my daughter but she found it easily falling down probably because the base is a sofa which is apparently smaller than the mattress! The hotel room is generally clean. We had a shabushabu and teriyaki dinner at the hotel which was relatively expensive but the quality is excellent and we found it worth a try! More importantly, the hotel is conveniently located near the outlet where we had a happy shopping spree😊

Definitely the best hotel in Karuizawa! Exceptional service and beautiful accommodations that have made our experience truly memorable! The professional and caring nature of your staff has been remarkable, ensuring that every aspect of our stay feels personalized and welcoming. The hotel's design and upkeep are also commendable. The elegant decor and well-maintained facilities have set a perfect backdrop for our romantic getaway, enhancing our overall enjoyment and comfort.

The hotel's environment and services are very good. The only drawback is that there are too few restaurants. Guests who wanted to dine in the hotel were unable to get a seat for two consecutive nights. They could only go to the villagers' canteen or the Elm Terrace, and had to wait for a long time for a seat.

The hotel is located quite far from Karuizawa JR station. There is a pickup bus service every half an hour outside the south exit of the station. However the bus is very small and can be quite full at times, causing people to rush onto the bus. It would be better if the hotel could set up a better queue-up system or adjust the frequency of the pickup bus service. By the way you can deposit luggage at the customer centre next to the pickup bus stop and have them transferred to the hotel for you. I thought the hotel did not advertise the service enough as it is very useful and effective in creating more passenger space in the pickup bus. Breakfast at the hotel is not buffet style, so went to the Prince Karuizawa West hotel to have breakfast instead. During non-peak hours the hotel offers individual transportation for free so that is definitely a plus. The Momiji hot spring is definitely a must-visit. Clean, modern, hygienic, exactly what I look for in a hot spring. Overall service is excellent.

Pros: 1. The room is very spacious, with a tatami bed for the third person. It was clean and well-equipped. 2. Convenient and free parking right outside the hotel entrance, although spaces are first-come, first-served. 3. Complimentary rental of umbrellas. 4. The private onsen was enjoyable, especially considering the public onsen at the adjacent building is unsheltered (hence the need for umbrellas). 5. Excellent location near Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza and Kyu-Karuizawa Main Street, providing easy access to numerous local shops and eateries. Cons: 1. The breakfast was quite disappointing considering that this is a 4-star hotel and the other aspects are good. The bread was extremely hard and difficult to tear, and did not seem fresh. The overall variety of food was limited and not particularly appealing.

Nice hotel with 2private hot spring with 24 hrs services We checked in quite late but called the reception before. When we checked in, they already printed all form and guest information to make our check in smooth Breakfast is ok but if not included in the package, it would be but overpriced. The roomm is clean and spacious.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful from driver to receptionist to cleaning staff. We have a pleasant stay in this hotel. The pick up service to and from JR station as well as the snow house are a plus for us. Furthermore, the breakfast variety as well as freshness of ingredients are highly appreciated. They are nice enough to give me a ride after my checkout for picking my luggages back . Overall speaking , I will recommend to others of this hotel .

When I fell asleep at night, I noticed the noise of the snowmaking machine at the ski resort. I have a very sensitive hearing, so I immediately contacted Ctrip's one-to-one customer service and the hotel front desk, and got a response very quickly. The Japanese night shift staff at the front desk communicated well and considered that it was very late, so they let us stay in the hotel building for one night and adjust the room the next day. The next day, Zhang, a Chinese at the front desk, drove the hotel car to the cabin very coolly to help us move our luggage into the hotel building. It was very friendly to hear Mandarin. Zhang was very patient and carried the luggage and drove to help us deliver the luggage to the new room. During the period, he also introduced the hotel and surrounding consultation. The room is clean and tidy. The most important thing is that the hot spring is very good, the restaurant is good, the service is good, and the court is good. The disadvantage is that it is a bit remote. This hotel under Seibu is better.
