This is not a five star hotel. Seeing many other reviews with similar room issue. We booked an ‘executive suite sea view.’ And they gave us a single room and tried to pretend it was a suite. It was almost funny if we hadn’t been exhausted from travel with a child. Only when we showed them a picture on our phone of their own suites did they concede. We had to change to suite after one night. But the new room wasn’t a suite it was just two rooms connected. Clearly they have an issue with overbooking the hotel. No five star hotels should have this problem. Their service needs a real upgrade. I asked for lunch recommendations in town and was told ‘I have none’. Between lunch and dinner service you cannot get food at the hotel even poolside. You have to do your own towel returns daily. And only receive one towel per day. Though the pool is lovely and it’s a fast walk into town, the hotel would be wise to learn the ways of traditional five stars. It’s not quite up to par yet. But the infrastructure is there if they go for it. Food ok. Breakfast Buffet is ok but not special. With their location and pool and new construction they could be a very special hotel with some upgrades in service and people skills.

The hotel offers great accommodation at a reasonable price. Although it is in the capital of the island, it is in a quiet place, a few minutes from the center. Ideal for travelers who want peace, but at the same time want to sit in a tavern in the evening and have something good to eat and drink. All the hotel staff, without exception, were very helpful and very kind. We will definitely spend our next vacation on the island of Karpathos in this hotel again.
