This hotel is quite busy, likely due to its location at Pier 2, a popular area with tourists. The check-in and check-out process is impressively efficient and automated, taking just a minute, which I appreciated. The breakfast area was definitely the highlight of the stay—there was a great variety of food and coffee, with small changes every day to keep it interesting. The hotel also offers a self-laundry service for TWD100, which is convenient. On the downside, there were a few issues with the room. The bed was uncomfortable, as it sank too much, and the bedsheets and towels appeared a bit greyish. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell and was very mouldy, which made the overall experience less enjoyable.

I mean, with the price paid, I've expected so much more.

Hotel room was spacious, really good size. Location was also rather convenient. Close to the metro, a park, the sea and also a convenience store. Lots of places to walk around and see in the vicinity.

Nothing fancy clean great location no parking on site next to pier 2

Room is big and spacious. It included breakfast but it was only till 9:30am. As things in Kaohsiung generally don't open till 11:30-12:00. I think the breakfast time ended rather early.

I appreciated the hotel's proximity to local markets, allowing me to explore the vibrant street food scene and experience the local culture. The rooms at Kaohsiung City Hotel were clean, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable space to rest after a day of exploration. While the decor was simple and understated, the amenities provided were sufficient for a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room had basic amenities such as a TV, air conditioning, and a private bathroom.

Nice location, plenty of choices at breakfast, attentive service

Hotel is spacious and near to convenient stores. Toilet floor tiles (dry section) not properly cleaned and water stains could still be seen. Generally a nice hotel for large families as the suite can accommodate up to 6 pax and is value-for-money.

Steps away from LRT. Beautiful harbor area. Plenty of interesting things to see, to walk around, to explore. Will definitely come back.

The location is awesome. The view is amazing. But parking is a problem. If they have their own parking place or cooperate with the parking lot company, this hotel will be the top notch.
