I had an excellent experience with my stay in Amaya, a beautiful place to relax and yummy buffet breakfast with many regional food to choose. The room was definitely the biggest I’ve ever been and very clean. I would definitely recommend and come back again

The scenery of the hotel is the most beautiful on this trip, and every frame is a painting. The facilities in the room are old, and the bedding only has sheets and pillows. The blanket is in the closet, and you need to call the front desk to send the quilt. There is a band at dinner, and the atmosphere is very good.

The location is too remote, and it is inconvenient to go out. You can only take a tuk-tuk, which is twice the price of pickme, and you need to pay extra tips to the driver. The food is not suitable for people who eat Chinese food, but other aspects are good.

The hotel is located by a beautiful lake, with shady trees and flocks of egrets. It is intoxicating. The breakfast is very good. It is the most satisfying hotel in this trip to Lanka.

Very good environment and beautiful scenery. It is also better to go out. The quality and taste of the food are also very good. very unique. The single bed in the parent-child room is too small. Especially the toilet seat in the bathroom is yellow. It really brings the hotel down a lot.

A 45 acre property, brilliant views and the best staff and hospitality I’ve seen! We’ve been to some of the best properties in the world but the hospitality here is unmatched! We were welcomed warmly, traditional lighting of the lamp, cool wet towels, welcome drinks and then they took us to the room! We were upgraded to the Signature Suite! The view opens into the garden! The perfect place to sit and sip a cup of hot coffee and watch the birds buzz around the garden! The lake is just a short walk and the shoreline. A guard is always there to make sure we are safe! You can sit on one of the benches and stare into the vista in front of you! Birds galore - egrets, pelicans, adjutant storks, herons, cormorants..black hooded orioles, purple rumped sunbirds, mynahs, magpie Robbins and so many more! A paradise for bird watchers. Breakfasts and dinners are another thing. Being pure vegetarians, we are always apprehensive but here it was the opposite! Though the buffet spread was predominantly non vegetarian, the chef, the assistant F&B Manager Mr Jaya, EM manager Mr Devinda and the GM made sure we were never wont of food . A private dinner was organised on the day we arrived (at no extra cost) and Suchira was there to make sure that everything was perfect! A special mention to Geeth for making two nights and three days perfect with his attentive hospitality! Definitely will be back again for the views and the hospitality!

What an amazing experience at the Amaya , can describe in words . The property is so beautiful and rejuvenating. The staff was extremely courteous and willing to go out of the way to help . Assistant Manager Mr. Jayaratna took very good care of us .

Our stay at Amaya lake dambulla was exceptional we experienced a beautiful environment with lake and fantastic service monkeys everyday and friendly houseseliness was exception the rooms are beautifully appointed and housekeeping supervisor Ravindra with Dinesh teams really go to extra effort to make you feel welcome .

Beautiful hotel in a fabulous location, the food was delicious and the staff were very warm, friendly snd welcoming, particularly Shashika in the bar who kept the yummy cocktails flowing, the only down side is we weren’t saying for longer!

Beautiful eco friendly hotel with individual bungalows set in fabulous natural gardens near the lake. Fabulous sounds of nature and birdlife. Bungalows very attractively furnished and very comfortable though air-conditioning very loud. Attractive bar area though restaurant busy and noisy when chef chopping and music blaring. However lovely food of mixed Asian, western & Sri Lankan. We were touring around the area and stayed 3 nights which was very pleasant. Good pool area with comfortable beds and swim up pool bar.

While reaching to the Amaya Lake hotel, we were stunned and admired by the beauty of the nature in Dambulla. When we have arrived at the lobby, they have upgraded our rooms in to suites. The staff are really kind and welcoming; the food was excellent and delicious; the suites were beautiful and elegant; the pool was relaxing and the lake beside the hotel was breathtaking. The general manager, Mr Ifthikar Amith, Chef Lal and the rest of their team are so professional. Let’s meet again!

Beautiful location with breath taking scenery ..Staff is friendly..Special thanks to F&B manager Mr.Jayarathne for all his courtesy . Had an amazing fun time in the never-ending green meadows by the blue crystalled waters.. It was a perfect getaway and a perfect vacation for our families, especially the children...Hope to come back soon ...
