Solare Hotels in Kanazawa

We had a mixed experience at this hotel in Kanazawa. The location is definitely a plus — Omicho Market is just around the corner, and it’s about a 15-minute walk to the railway station, which made getting around relatively easy. However, the room left a lot to be desired. It didn’t feel well maintained or properly cleaned. The in-room tablet didn’t work at all, and some parts of the air conditioning unit were open, exposing dirty interior components — not something you’d expect in a Japanese hotel. The onsen was a nice feature, but often too crowded. There were three washing machines available for guests, but they were constantly in use, even late at night or early in the morning, which made doing laundry very difficult. Staff were okay, but not particularly warm or polite by Japanese standards. Overall, it was a passable stay, but we wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

Hotel located just nearby station, while being very close to the railway i couldn’t really hear it, so it didn’t interrupt my sleep. It is very nice that you can take all of the amenities you need, but they are trying to be less wistful. I was allowed to leave my bags before check-in and after check-out, which is always nice option. Room were pretty spacious, bigger then in other hotels of this type. Good experience!

Very close to Omi Market and Kanazawa Castle. Kenrokuen Garden is also not far away. If it doesn’t rain, you can easily walk there while looking at the scenery. On the first floor, hot Kaga stick tea and a lot of cold juices are provided, which is a very comfortable environment. I chose a room with a terrace. Although I didn't want to go out because it was very cold, it was just enough to use an umbrella and feel the temperature outside, which was not bad. The bathtub has a water column massage function. The switch to block the drain hole is on the side of the bathtub. It took me a while to find it. The entrance to the hotel is a wooden sliding door as shown in the picture, which is quite private.
