Good location and view. Recommend.

Great hotel at a reasonable price. Perfect location to everything we wanted to do on the island. Nothing too fancy but great place to home base for our trip.

The purified water machine is out of control and no Souper provide, the room light is not bright enough However the location was really good and the lagoon nearby was beautiful.

The hotel is located right on the shoreline with walkable access to many restaurants nearby. It’s also a convenient 20 minute drive from the airport. The rooms were spacious and had all the necessities. The only downside is the nearby pubs open late into the night; you will hear people screaming/yelling and karaoke until about 1am. If you are on a lower floor, the waves crashing against the shore can get rough and loud depending on the tides/weather.

Very good location. There are just more budget friendly options near the same location. Service is great. I feel for the price already paid the fact that lunch or dinner for 1 person is almost the cost of another night stay is kind of ridiculous. The best amenities here can be enjoyed without being a guest.

Hotel personnel were friendly and helpful when questions asked. Spacious room, bed and pillows soft and comfortable. Walking distance to shops and convenient stores.

Great hotel, central location. We were upgraded to an oceanfront room. Amazing views from the balcony. We certainly made the most of view. Clean, service was good and no issues. Highly recommend

Beautiful resort, friendly staff, and what an incredible ocean view.

The hotel is nice, but it's too noisy. You're forced to get up at 8am, and then you hear the kids crying and the renovations going on outside. You don't feel like you're on vacation, but like a husband in his 40s with three kids, trying his best to stop the kids from making noises while you hear the renovations. At this point, you feel like a failure. If you have money, you'll stay in a better hotel. Also, services? You don't need any services at all. You're just going to sleep.

I am very disappointed with the management and service of this hotel. I am 100% sure that I left a Tiffany bracelet and a pair of slippers in the room. The bracelet can be found. It is a small item, but things as big as slippers are not reported. On the night of my check-out, I called the hotel front desk to ask if they found my bracelet. The other party said that they would call me back, but I didn't wait for any phone response. A day later, I returned to Kona from Hilo and checked into this hotel again. I also asked about the lost property in person, and they still told me that there was nothing. Housekeeping did not report any lost items. But the hotel security staff also told me that their employees would report every lost item found. So what about it? ? ? Where are the slippers? Where is the bracelet? ? ? Secondly, the hotel facilities are old and outdated, and can't be compared with hotels of the same price in Oahu. There is still construction in the morning. Don't come. Run, run. The carpet still smells moldy.

The location was very good. There was an ABC Store within a 5-minute walk and many restaurants. The view was also very nice as it was right in front of the sea. Unfortunately, the room was terrible. When I went to sleep at night, a cockroach came out from the bed. I tried to do something about it but it escaped. It was late so I didn't tell the front desk and just put up with it that day, but I was worried and couldn't sleep very well. In the morning, another cockroach came out from the sink. It was too much for me, so I told the front desk, and they replied very casually, "Oh, really? Then would you like to change rooms?" I was very curious and asked, "Do they come out often?" They replied, "No, they don't come out," which was a bit of a shock. It's not a cheap hotel, and it's a very popular hotel, so I'm disappointed that they had such an attitude. After that, I was moved to another room, but it was a hassle to move even though I was originally staying for 2 nights, and I was worried that there would be cockroaches even if I moved. I honestly didn't like their attitude of "I'm sorry." All the other staff were nice and said hello, but I really didn't like the room. And it was twice as old as you'd think. I'd like to believe I was just unlucky, but I was worried. I think it would be reassuring to bring something to protect against cockroaches, etc.

The hotel facilities are quite complete, the price is a bit high, I think it is OK overall, the hotel is right next to the beach

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. The location is good, but it's too old... I think it would be more comfortable if they did a little more maintenance and renovation. If you ask me if I would stay again, I would have a hard time deciding. The price is cheaper than others and the rooms are spacious... it depends on what you value.

The front desk has a bad attitude towards Chinese people, which is very obvious compared to other travelers. The room number is 444, I don't know if it is intentional or unintentional. It is a special room for renovation, and the sound of renovation is still very obvious. According to previous reviews, there is a microwave, but we were told that there is no microwave when we asked. The hotel is old, the hygiene is poor, and there are insects.
