This is a renovated old hotel with a long history. It is about 300m away from Jönköping Railway Station. There are many restaurants on the pedestrian street downstairs.

The hotel is in a good location, with lake view rooms, and there are many restaurants around. There are more restaurants to the left than to the right. The hotel is old and has a sense of history. The service is very good, and the lake view room is very good. Like

Good location in city center. The hotel can help with parking nearby. Also nearby railway station, shops, restaurants, park and places to visit. You should pay a visit to the Tändsticksmuseet. It is within walking distance of the hotel. Nice museum to learn more about the history of the tändsticks and of the town.

Stayed at the hotel for one night. It is an older, worn hotel. The “Premium Room” I had booked was on the ground floor. The lake view wasn't worth much. There was a view of a railway and a very busy road. Probably why there are earplugs by the bed. The room has a TV, but unfortunately, management has decided not to allow screen casting... I won't be staying here again. There are many better and quieter hotels in the city.

The first impression was very bad, as there was a car show right in front of the hotel and it was almost impossible to get the luggage from the parking lot to the front door, apart from a tiny gap in a fence that was full of people. Then valets in red uniforms stood in the way of the entrance and wouldn't budge, so we had to squeeze past them too. We were greeted with an unpleasant smell in the lobby, but the reception was friendly and competent. The nice lake view in our room was cancelled out by noisy cars and cargo trains going right past our window. We tolerated the constant cracking of the floor from the neighbors as it is an old building, but the extreme noise from drunk people in the hallway until well after 10 p.m. was too much. The breakfast in the morning offered a good selection and quality but the lounge was not very clean. All in all it was still satisfactory but some things we really didn't expect from a 4 star hotel.

Fantastic property in the middle of Jonkoping. The Facade is one of the most beutiful I've ever seen. Excellent and attentive staff. Obvisouly there is some noise because of the hotels location. Breakfast and food is very tasty. I would gladly come back and enjoy the views from the rooms over lake Vattern.

Pleased to find this hotel on our road trip from Britain to Sweden. The room was nice with a lovely lakeside view which was just magic at night when the sun hardly went down in June. Everything was clean and the breakfast was nice. The arrival left a lot to be desired - we were asked to park in the multi-story around the corner some way away when the hotel advertised parking. We had no-one to help us - we are in our seventies and had to bring our suitcases over cobbles on the main street in pouring rain with no offer of a valet. When we eventually got to reception, again no offer of help and a stuck lift as there was a student ball going on with teenagers blocking the lift entrance and commandeering the lift so that no-one else could use it. Very tiring and annoying for what we paid. The food at the pub adjoining was very third-rate and we couldn't eat the soup at all and sent it back. We're not fussy but we do expect value for money.

2 days with friends in the heart of Jönköping. Nice and clean room. Breakfast very good and super nice staff. Friendly and service minded staff in reception also in the pub Bishop Arms. We will bee back.

There are no surprises either positive or negative. The staff is nice, the room is just fine. One thing could be fixed. It says on profile that they have charging for electric cars. By that they mean a public charger that allows 2 hours charging. Missleading in my opinion. .

Good hotel in the near proximity of the walking centre. Very friendly staff, both at reception and breakfast. Breakfast good, rooms and beds also good and clean. Easy to find and parking cheap. No EV charging possibility at hotel. Something to consider: the combination of a bathtub & shower is maybe not the best for elderly people.

The hotel looked great online and when we arrived. We were greeted nicely and went to our rooms which were obviously in need of refurbishment, very old, tired furniture and not sure about the cleanliness of the carpet. Anyway, the bed was very comfortable. There is no air conditioning and one fan is provided. There is what I'd describe as secondary double glazing, two sets of windows, presumably to counteract the noise of constant trains going past but this means the rooms are very stuffy. Breakfast, what can I say? Staff don't greet you, we had to ask if we just go to a table. The tables aren't set, you have to get everything yourself. Breakfast is buffet and I was pleased to learn the were gluten free and dairy free options. However, when I opened the cheesespread, there was mould growing in it. I showed it to a member of staff and she just said "oh" and took it away, no apologies or even surprise that it was out for people to use! Then I tried the soya milk on some cereal, it tasted sour, so then tried the oat milk but poured it separately to check. It was thick round the lid, smelt sour and poured out in a thick, gloopy way. I am disgusted that foods are put out in this state. Also I think staff are told to interact as little as possible with guests.

Really good hotel and good situated with Sunny pub and close to city and lake Vättern. Friendly staff and really good Breakfast. Room really nice and able to open window for fresh air. Good cleaning and service from the reception.
