Sokos Hotel Kimmel is a beautiful hotel, staff very friendly. Breakfast buffet really nice lots of choices. Had prawn pasta for an evening meal, for such a large hotel, prices very reasonable. 5min walk to the main train station, and 10min walk to the town centre, Overall Sokos Hotel Kimmel was Great!! Will definitely be going back.

The location of the hotel is very good, out of the train station, crossing the bridge and walking less than fifteen minutes. There is a bus stop at the door, which is convenient for travel. The rooms are large, clean and have a sauna to experience the Finnish lifestyle. Breakfast is good and the hotel also serves lunch and dinner. The distance to Koli is 50 km. There is 80 metres to the beachsauna which clients can rent from the owner during the summertime.The closest neighbour is in 1 km distance.There is a hut in 1 km distance and there is possibility to use it throughout the year according to agreement.There is pike perch, pikes, burbots and perchs in the Välivesi lake.The owner can borrow nets and rubber boat.
