Hotels in Ganhaizi Paradise Resort, Jiuzhaigou

Jiuzhai Paradise Hotel boasts an excellent environment, truly nestled amidst the mountains and forests. Its surrounding natural beauty is incredibly refreshing, which I'd say is its biggest selling point. Given the hotel's age, you can definitely feel a sense of time in the rooms and some of the facilities; they are a bit dated. However, the overall maintenance is good, and the service is excellent, with all the staff being quite enthusiastic. The hotel also organizes various activities, some of which are suitable for children, making it very family-friendly. You can find things to do without even leaving the hotel. My only regret is that the hotel lobby was rebuilt after the earthquake. The current lobby doesn't have the same grand and impressive feel as shown in older pictures, which is a bit of a shame.

First off, the location is halfway between the high-speed train station and the Jiuzhaigou scenic area. Public transportation isn't the best option, so I'd recommend driving yourself or going with a tour group. Secondly, I booked a mountain view room, but the window glass facing the mountains really detracted from the view. For over 700 a night, which isn't cheap, you'd expect cleaner windows. I won't post photos, but other reviews mention the same issue. Then, the welcome fruit I was supposed to get for my points wasn't delivered, and the shuttle bus taking guests to the scenic area in the morning didn't even help with luggage. Finally, a big shout-out to the customer service小姐姐 (I forgot her name, but she looks a lot like Tong Yao). She was worried we'd miss our stop and came to pick us up early. She was also very prompt in addressing any issues we had. Thanks to her, I'm not leaving a negative review. Enough said.

This hotel is such a treasure! When we arrived, the staff was very helpful with our luggage. The room was clean and tidy, and the layout was very cozy. From the balcony, we could see the snow-covered mountains in the distance, which was a great view. The snow scenery around the hotel was beautiful, and the trees seemed to be covered with a thick white blanket. The restaurant's meals were also delicious, with local specialties and affordable prices. Walking in the snow and feeling the tranquility of nature made this trip even more perfect because of this hotel.

The environment is very good. I thought it would be very cold when I stayed there during the National Day, but the heating in the room was sufficient and it was not cold at all. It was great. Very clean and good-looking. There is no independent bathroom. It is a public washing area, but it is very clean and overall good. The only thing was that there were tourists in the scenic area in the morning, and it was quite noisy after 7 o'clock. There would be people walking around, taking pictures at the door, and zipping up our tent, which was quite speechless. But the hotel service is good, and they also gave hot spring tickets, which solved the problem of washing up.

Let's start with the pros: convenient parking, easy to find on the street, and very affordable. Now for the cons: no slippers in the bathroom, so you have to shower barefoot. No disinfectant wipes/toilet seat covers for the toilet, so those with OCD should be cautious. Most importantly, the breakfast staff... I've stayed in so many hotels, and not one has ever stopped me from taking two eggs. I don't eat anything else, I've already put two eggs in my bowl, and you want me to return one? I really didn't expect that. And please, don't call it a buffet breakfast; just give everyone a steamed bun.

This guesthouse truly exceeded my expectations. The surroundings are beautiful, and the room amenities are excellent. The duvet and pillows were super comfortable. With a smart toilet and a bathtub, it offers unbeatable value for money. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby.

The front desk lady upgraded our room, and the river view king-size room was a pleasant surprise! The floor-to-ceiling windows offered an expansive view that took our breath away. The room was clean and tidy, with good soundproofing, making for a quiet night's sleep. Check-in was efficient, and the location is convenient for getting around. We could cross the bridge right outside the hotel for dining and shopping. We tried the local yak meat hotpot, which was delicious. Waking up to such a beautiful view really boosted our travel experience. We'll definitely book this hotel again on our next visit.

Think about it, or give a good review, for the boss's quality service, haha! From Chengdu, it has been one or two o'clock to drive to Jiuzhaigou County, and use the points of Trip.com to redeem the free room! I called the boss in the early morning, I was sorry. Because of the road construction, the car can't drive into the yard, but even if it can drive, it will test the car skills, because the road is really narrow! Parked in the small platform parking lot halfway up the mountain, the boss paid the parking fee. Room facilities, I can say a price of 100 yuan for a triple room, you can imagine 😄 you get what you pay for~ It’s too late and there is no hot water. I got up in the morning and was used up by others, so I took a cold shower in the very cold morning... As for the spare parts, It is recommended to bring your own conditions. It is estimated that the entire county is not dripping, except for those high-end hotel chains.

High cost-effectiveness, walking distance to and from Jiuzhaigou ”county” bus station is about fifteen minutes to half an hour. The consumption in the county (Nanping Town) is relatively low compared to the scenic area. There is a special bus (6 am and 6 pm) to and from Jiuzhaigou Goukou Scenic Area, with one bus every half an hour and limited seats, and the fare is N yuan! Baidu map navigation can accurately reach the hotel, recommended for self-driving family trips!
