Hotels in Ganhaizi Paradise Resort, Jiuzhaigou

While my previous feedback was entirely positive, here are a few suggestions for improvement: 1. **Old Teahouse Sichuan Restaurant Pricing:** The prices at the Old Teahouse Sichuan restaurant are excessively high – 48 RMB for shredded potatoes and 98 RMB for Kung Pao chicken. Considering there are no other commercial establishments within a 10 km radius of the hotel, and guests are hesitant to purchase food from the few local vendors due to food safety concerns, it seems counterproductive. Why not adjust your pricing to encourage guests to dine entirely within the hotel? This would both increase hotel revenue and provide better dining options for guests. For example, 28 RMB for shredded potatoes – it's a very basic dish – and 58 RMB for Kung Pao chicken would still be a reasonable price. 2. **Laundry Service Cost:** I didn't check the exact laundry service prices, but I suspect they're on the higher side. The majority of guests here are tourists who are often quite tired from their activities and would greatly appreciate the option to do laundry. If prices were around 10-20 RMB per item, I imagine many more guests would utilize the service. Ironing wouldn't even be essential, as people aren't typically here for formal business meetings. 3. **In-Room Mineral Water:** Four complimentary bottles of mineral water in the room is simply not enough. Hotels like Quanjijia, with similar room rates (around 400+ RMB), usually provide 8 bottles and often have more readily available in the lobby for guests to take as needed. They also offer free coffee machines in the lobby. While the idea of free coffee sounds appealing, how much coffee can one person genuinely consume? 4. **Pillow Selection:** The pillow selection needs improvement. There are no latex pillows available. The down pillows are too soft, the buckwheat pillows don't provide adequate support and can lead to a stiff neck, and the lavender pillows feel more like a novelty. I resorted to using a folded bath towel as a pillow, which was uncomfortably hard. Providing a selection of latex pillows (perhaps 10% of the total stock) would be a great improvement, especially since hotels like Quanjijia commonly offer them, indicating their popularity. On a separate note, I find having four pillows on the bed excessive and inconvenient; I always end up having to remove two, which is a small but unnecessary hassle. 5. **Front Desk Communication:** For a 5-star hotel, communication can sometimes feel overly complicated due to the sheer number of departments. In comparison, at hotels like Quanjijia, guests can often communicate directly with staff via WeChat, and receive prompt, enthusiastic, and patient responses to their queries. The front desk here could definitely improve in terms of accessibility and responsiveness. I sincerely hope these comments are forwarded to the management for their serious consideration. Lastly, a special mention for the hotel's song and dance performances – they were fantastic! 👍

Travellers from Australia and Thailand. We stayed in the 180 degree panoramic room. The rooms were clean and modern. Breakfast and dinner options were good - the best string beans I’ve ever had! The staff has been very pleasant and helpful throughout our trip with easy communication through WeChat. It is convenient by shuttle bus to the park - We had an incredible stay! This hotel is such a treasure! When we arrived, the staff was very helpful with our luggage. The room was clean and tidy, and the layout was very cozy. From the balcony, we could see the snow-covered mountains in the distance, which was a great view. The snow scenery around the hotel was beautiful, and the trees seemed to be covered with a thick white blanket. The restaurant's meals were also delicious, with local specialties and affordable prices. Walking in the snow and feeling the tranquility of nature made this trip even more perfect because of this hotel.

During the Chinese New Year, I went to Jiuzhaigou and stayed in this hotel. It was already late when I checked in, but the front desk was still very enthusiastic to check in and give relevant introductions. I will come again next time!

This hotel is truly excellent. The owner was incredibly warm and hospitable, generously offering us various treats like plums, corn, and watermelon right when we arrived. Our room was brand new and spotlessly clean. I would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity.

High cost-effectiveness, walking distance to and from Jiuzhaigou ”county” bus station is about fifteen minutes to half an hour. The consumption in the county (Nanping Town) is relatively low compared to the scenic area. There is a special bus (6 am and 6 pm) to and from Jiuzhaigou Goukou Scenic Area, with one bus every half an hour and limited seats, and the fare is N yuan! Baidu map navigation can accurately reach the hotel, recommended for self-driving family trips!

The B&B is beautifully decorated, with great natural light in the rooms. It's a fantastic value for money! The rooms are impeccably clean, with high-end toiletries and smooth WiFi. The front desk is open 24 hours a day, and the host is especially friendly and helpful, offering travel tips. The location is fantastic, with convenient underground parking, which exceeded our expectations!

This is the first time I've stayed in a house with such a high cost-effectiveness. The environment is good, and the house, beds and other facilities are very clean. The owner and his family are very welcoming and treat the guests very well. I will recommend it to my friends and will choose their house again when I come next time.

The bathroom in the room is large, hot water is sufficient, there is a washing machine, there is a clothesline, parking in the yard, and living comfortably. The boss's own yard, take care of it himself, has such a beautiful price. The boss is enthusiastic, help you carry things, please pick the grapes in the yard to eat.
