Had a great stay at Tixin Meisu. The knowledge and friendly team at the hotel will walk through with you of the amenities in the room as well as let you know how to best utilized your time at Jiuzhaigou valley and Huanglong national park so you don’t have to walk aimlessly. Breakfast was homely and there are laundry services which the clothes will be wash for you. There are also car services to/fro Jiuzhaigou valley which is about 15mins from the hotel and 5 mins walk to the opposite mall which houses 5 star hotel such as Conrad. The open air mall has bonfire every night for tourist as well as a very good Mao Niu hotpot that is highly recommended!! Shout out to the boss/ manager of the hotel which helped us out with the last minute booking of car to the railway station when we were unable to board the share-car that we had initially book. He kindly arranged a cab for us and even insisted that we only pay the shared-car fare — he covered the rest of the cost to the railway station, even though he had no obligation to do so. Tip for those that will be coming: Please arrange your transport to the railway station in advance as it is quite hard to book a didi in JZG. I’ll gladly visit again in the future!

An absolutely outstanding service experience that truly exceeded all my expectations! From the initial booking to the completion of the service, everything was handled with incredible thoughtfulness. The meticulous attention to detail was particularly impressive and touching. The staff were professional, patient, and made the entire experience feel top-notch. Their efficiency was surprisingly impressive, and the results perfectly aligned with what I hoped for. Communication was incredibly smooth, and the entire process was seamless, leaving me feeling completely at ease. They even proactively followed up for feedback after the service concluded. This exceptional level of dedication absolutely deserves a five-star rating! I wholeheartedly recommend them!

In Jiuzhai Valley, this is arguably the priciest hotel, second only to the Ritz-Carlton Reserve. While a 20-30 minute drive from the scenic area, its location offers a much quieter and more secluded environment. The public areas are beautifully designed, and the rooms are individual villas, providing excellent privacy. The only drawback is needing a shuttle bus to reach the lobby and restaurants, with an average wait time of five minutes. The room design feels like an elevated Hilton, featuring a terrace with truly superb views. On our check-in day, we had no itinerary, so we spent the entire afternoon relaxing on the terrace lounger, enjoying the blue sky, white clouds, and lush green mountains – it was incredibly peaceful. Compared to similarly-priced hotels in Chengdu, the breakfast selection was somewhat limited, lacking any standout specialty dishes. The noodle station, in particular, was quite average. Overall, the service was impeccable, meeting the expected standards for a hotel of this caliber. At check-out, they even presented our child with a small bear, and I'd like to extend a special thanks to Sasa for that. In the evenings, there's a bonfire party at the small square next to the hotel, where guests can experience ******* dances with the locals. While dining options nearby are somewhat limited, the available establishments do offer authentic local cuisine.

Whenever I'm undecided on accommodation, Hilton is always my go-to choice. They consistently deliver on basic comfort, and in recent years, Hilton's service has noticeably improved, offering personalized one-on-one butler service after booking, which is a very thoughtful touch. The Hilton Garden Inn in Jiuzhaigou not only maintained its usual reliable hygiene but also offered many pleasant surprises with its service. For instance, they provided Haagen-Dazs ice cream, a generous selection of fruits in the room, and complimentary Coca-Cola in the minibar. These little touches were truly delightful, especially the butler service. Knowing we were traveling with an older child, they proactively upgraded our room and added an extra bed, which was absolutely fantastic! Our family of three was particularly impressed with the noodles served at the hotel breakfast. Compared to other hotels in the vicinity, the Hilton Garden Inn offers truly exceptional value for money.

The village where the tent is located is very beautiful. It is not excessive to lie here quietly for a whole day. When you open the curtains, you can see the misty valley. It’s a pity that our schedule was very tight and we didn’t have time to take a good look at the scenery in the village from morning to night. The boss was very nice. He turned on the heating for us in advance. He also made us a pot of butter tea for breakfast the next day. It was a very humane homestay. I like it very much. I will definitely come to the village to sit and lie down next time when my schedule is not so tight.

The butler service experience is very good, and I also helped to upgrade the room, and any problems and needs can be dealt with in time. Service is dedicated! Facilities: I personally feel that I don’t lose Conrad, Ritz, or even better. The furniture in the room is very good, especially the bedding. It can be said that we have lived in so many hotels, and there is floor heating. The room can also be soaked, super comfortable! The room also has a small private yard. The red maple at the door is so beautiful. The scenery outside the window is not inferior to Jiuzhaigou. The details are impeccable. Location: The hotel is located in the valley of Zhongchagou, looking at the snowy mountains from afar! Close to a very unique Tibetan village, mid-mountain grassland and virgin forest! The hotel is full of the original Tibetan cultural atmosphere, and the photos are beyond the film! You can also experience horse riding, and it is very convenient to go to Jiuzhaigou, about 20 minutes to go to the mouth. Environment: The hotel environment is super beautiful, integrated with the valley scenery, full of wild luxury, the infinity pool is surrounded by reeds, the stream passes through the hotel park, and the Tibetan flag is flying on the back mountain of the hotel. This is what life should look like! Service: The service is really super five stars! There are questions and answers, and I will contact us in advance to send various guides. There is also a commercial car to Jiuzhaigou, the breakfast is also very rich and tastes good, full marks! Hygienic: too clean! There is no dust in any corner of the wild luxury hotel in the mountains, the linen is not stained, everything is very new and clean! This hotel is really perfect, I will definitely choose again next time! I hope I have the opportunity to live here for a long time for a while ～

The resort complex housing the hotel boasts independent coffee shops, a KFC, Cha Bai Dao, what is reportedly the country's third Hard Rock Cafe, an upcoming Starbucks, and a sizable museum dedicated to ******* culture. It's quite pleasant for a leisurely stroll. The hotel rooms are quite spacious, and the two king-sized beds (1.8m each) were satisfactory. However, the hotel's facilities are not well-maintained, likely due to its remote location in Jiuzhaigou. There are also some rather peculiar design choices: for instance, the bathroom clearly has two mirrors, but one is completely blocked by the bathtub. To use *that* mirror, you literally have to stand inside the tub! 🤭🤭🤭 Furthermore, the bathroom's floor drain design is problematic; with high water flow, it can't drain fast enough, causing water to pool. The breakfast and the Metok stone pot chicken served at dinner in the hotel restaurant were pretty good. However, I'd strongly caution against ordering any Chinese dishes (😂😂😂); they are genuinely unappetizing, and the quality is very subpar. The hotel's acclaimed ”signature butler service” was rather underwhelming. On the positive side, the two front desk staff members during check-in and check-out were quite helpful and attentive. In summary, for Indigo, an IHG luxury brand, its standards were genuinely hampered by its geographical location this time around.

My unforgettable six-day stay at Risai Valley concluded with two glasses of Perrier Jouet. From Butler Jasmine's traditional Hada welcome to her personal send-off after her night shift, my entire stay was as flawless and radiant as the golden wheel knot she gifted me upon departure. The hotel confirmed my reservation a week prior to my arrival, and the butler created a WeChat group for me the day before. As an introvert like myself, who prefers minimal disturbance, Jasmine seemed to intuitively understand my preference. Throughout my stay, beyond necessary reminders and immediate responses to my requests, the butler group ensured interference was kept to a minimum. Upon arriving at the hotel and entering the grounds, my first impression instantly brought back memories of Hoshinoya Karuizawa years ago. Both share a harmonious integration of man-made landscapes with natural backdrops, devoid of any awkward juxtapositions or artificial embellishments. This made me entirely content exploring the grounds throughout my stay. Later, I began to appreciate their distinct characteristics: Hoshinoya's abundant water features lend it a softer elegance, while Risai Valley Secluded Resort's dominant elements of wood, stone, mountains, and forests, combined with its Tibetan-Qiang essence, create a blend of strength and grace, resulting in a rugged yet beautiful grandeur. Jasmine meticulously introduced me to the room's design, structure, and thoughtful touches, allowing me to truly appreciate Master Jaya's integration and interpretation of ancient Eastern civilization with modern concepts. Her narrative clearly conveyed her identification with and pride in the hotel's philosophy. As she spoke, it felt as if she were proudly showcasing her own home, not just her workplace. I've stayed at many excellent, even top-tier, hotels in China with superb hardware (including scenery and facilities). However, the exceptional experience at this secluded resort stemmed not just from its hardware, but even more so from its meticulous attention to detail. On the day of check-in, it was relentlessly rainy and only 6 degrees Celsius. Immediately after I settled in, Jasmine arranged for staff to bring me a pot of warm ginger tea. Noticing that I often read in my room, housekeeping placed a delicate ******* bookmark on the coffee table. On the only half-day I left the property to visit Jiuzhaigou, Jasmine asked me on my way back if I'd like a bubble bath drawn in advance, and also prepared a steam eye mask to help relieve my fatigue. After my first spa session, upon learning I liked agarwood essential oil, the manager specifically instructed the therapist to use it again when scheduling my second session. At Bori Muju, seeing my indecision over meal choices, the staff proactively offered the menu from Montagna (another restaurant) and thoughtfully provided different flavored chili sauces for me to try with my meal. Upon learning I liked the hotel's special bath salts, not only did housekeeping replenish several jars, but Jasmine also thoughtfully included two extra jars in my farewell gift. Encountering any staff member on the grounds, I was always met with warm greetings and courtesies, as if they were welcoming friends and family... It was these thoughtful details and care that made this getaway so delightful and perfect. My stay was almost impeccable. If I had to find fault, during peak periods, the hotel's breakfast buffet opens multiple sections, offering a wide and clear selection. However, on regular days, there's only one breakfast serving area. While categories are consolidated, items like milk still need to be requested from staff, and the breakfast set menu isn't always proactively offered. The quality of breakfast items like European breads and baguettes could be improved; however, the complimentary pre-dinner sourdough rye bread was truly delightful. For the complimentary afternoon tea set, both the yak meat scones and plain scones were excellent. Other French desserts, however, were a bit too rich for my taste. If the SPA's primary focus is sound healing with singing bowls, I personally believe the background music should be turned off to achieve a purer therapeutic experience. Of course, these minor points don't overshadow the overall excellence. As Jasmine explained to me, 'Risai' means 'village' in *******. The hotel aims to integrate itself into the local ******* villages like one, and for its guests, beyond providing a unique secluded experience, it hopes they feel like they've returned home, becoming cherished members of the Ritz-Carlton family of ladies and gentlemen.

We booked this hotel en route from Chengdu High-Speed ​​Railway to Jiuzhaigou. We arranged transportation with the hotel front desk in advance, and the shuttle bus from the high-speed railway station was very convenient. I was initially worried about making it to the scenic area the next day, but upon arrival, the front desk was very considerate and proactively offered to help me book a hotel shuttle for the next day (PS: This really made it worry-free for non-driving trips, thumbs up to the hotel [strong]). The hotel room was also very new and clean, with lush green mountain views nearby, and a very quiet night's sleep. Overall, it was a pleasant trip, and I plan to return next fall!

The Ritz-Carlton Hideaway was too expensive, so we opted for the Zhongcha Mountain B&B next door, which was a fraction of the price. Upon entering the room, we checked the cleanliness—the sheets were spotless, the toilet bowl was spotless, and the linens were truly comfortable, like those in a five-star hotel. The window overlooked a pasture, and the sight of cattle and sheep grazing leisurely was truly soothing. Hot water came out instantly and the temperature was consistent, with a powerful shower flow. Mountain nights are naturally quiet, and the sound of rain actually helped me sleep, resulting in a wonderful sleep. We were driven to the gully in the morning by a Mercedes-Benz. The driver was incredibly nice and humorous. This B&B left a lasting impression.
