Great location with lots of food options in the neighborhood a short drive away or a bike ride away. The resort area comprises of Pullman, crowne plaza and Wanda. So if u prefer to eat in one of these hotels that’s an option but much more pocket friendly options in the area too outside of this hotel area but close by. Rooms are comfortable. An outdoor and indoor pool are available but the indoor one water is too cold and needs to be regulated. The steam and sauna are not always on so if u are the first one to use like in my case then u have to wait till it heats up and gets fully operational. Steam worked great but sauna not so good. Jacuzzi was busted and non-operational. Don’t forget to get ur swimming caps as even though outdoor pool one is not required but if it rains u must go to the indoor one as per hotel rules and for indoor u need a cap and to buy one at site is very expensive. The check in desk person Jacky Chen was very nice and helpful. Smooth check in process. Eva he at the breakfast buffet was also very kind and friendly and all the staff generally were good. However the staff at the front entrance gate need to be trained better to talk to customers like they normally should to customers but I felt they were very rude although it was not there intention to be rude. They just need better training. Parking is not allowed around the entrance circle but many people are allowed to park and is not consistent. If they allow one car to park then they should allow all. Local cars should not get preference. Even the help staff at the breakfast should be trained a little more to serve customers as it was quite chaotic. Overall a pleasant stay but some improvements required as highlighted above.

An exotic feeling hotel, with some beautiful spaces to take pictures (which seems to be the main activity - sadly - for travellers in Xishuangbanna). I stayed here for 4 nights, check-in was fairly smooth, although a cheeky comment about whether the gym was part of my normal routine or not, was not hugely appreciated. A very large hotel, quite dated, but with spacious rooms. My room had a comfortable large bed, a huge bath (the plug didn't work - but they did fix this promptly) and a lovely balcony area. Unfortunately, there were so many palm trees outside of my room it blocked a lot of the natural light, so the room was always quite dark - 21st century problems 🤣 I loved how the aircon automatically turned off when the doors opened - helping the environment 😊 I did not have breakfast any day as I was up and out early, and with limited vegetarian options I ate only once in their Chinese restaurant - where the chef prepared a special meal for my dietary requirements. The bar area, well, wasn't a bar, but the lobby lounge was a wonderful space and their iced coffee was a real treat each day! The children's pool was closed for maintenance but the indoor pool was available. Location was good, I was able to travel to everywhere quite simply using DiDi (although they will not take people to the Botanical Gardens). A particular thank you to Lee, who offered excellent help in English when I was unable to get any transport. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as a good base for exploring Xishuangbanna 🌴 ☀️

It was my first time in Xishuangbanna. I was quite surprised when I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The lobby is transparent and the breeze is very comfortable. There are live peacocks in the lobby for tourists to watch. The service attitude of the hotel staff is very good. Booking hotel accommodation also comes with free travel photography, and five free refined photos of clothing are given for free. It is very cost-effective. The travel photographer is very professional and the photos he took are very beautiful. I thought it was free and didn't have much expectation, but the photos were really good. When choosing photos, they didn't force you to choose more photos. The attitude was very comfortable! If I have the opportunity in the future, I will stay in this hotel again.

Anyone who comes to Banna should check out this hotel. River view!!! Sunset!!! Swimming pool!!! Just think about it~ Booked a river view room for 560💰! First of all, I really like the bedding. The four-piece set is silky and really comfortable to sleep on. Next to the floor-to-ceiling window is a large hot spring bath that can easily soak two people. And they even provide disposable bath towels. The details are touching! The breakfast is also very rich. Chinese rice noodles, noodles, buns, stir-fried dishes! Western coffee, bread, desserts! Whatever you want, we have it! ! ! By the way, there is also a gym in the hotel work area. Good review!

The hotel is very big and not that central near the nightmarket than other hotels but that was no issue for us as we wanted to have a quiet night and a big garden to relax. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and we enjoyed our nights there. It is obvious that the building and pool area area not the newest anymore but thats ok. We booked executive package and were a little disappointed about the very less of western dishes in the hotel. There were just chinese dishes every evening which we liked but a little bit more variety of international dishes would be more suitable for a hotel in this category. The staff is very friendly and helpful and we liked the shuttle bus to the nightmarket and other attractions in the area. Thank you!

We loved this guesthouse! We wanted to extend our stay but unfortunately they were fully booked. So the room was great, we actually booked one of the smaller double rooms, but after seeing inside one of the duplex rooms when we come again next time we will book one of those instead cause they looked gorgeous! The location is perfect especially for the night market which is only very short walk away. This could be an issue though if you like an early night and are a light sleeper as the night market goes on rather late. In terms of amenities, the main thing I liked was the swimming pool, it was refreshing and certainly not as cold as I expected. I spent several happy hours in there. There is no restaurant on site, but you are surrounded by lots of restaurants and the owner kindly pointed us in the direction of one of the great ones. The best thing about this place though is the service. It’s a family run guesthouse and they all, from the grandparents to the owners to the little baby, really make you feel welcome! Just book! You won’t be disappointed!

The staff was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. I am glad I booked this location. I am not a party animal, so I think it is very quiet here considering how loud it can get at night with the noise from the rave and night market. There is a nice walking path that follows the river across the street from the neighborhood in which the homestay is in. Next time, I will try to bring a bike or standing scooter to travel around easier but most places in the city can be reached within 15 minutes by taxi.

The location of the resort is is 20mins drive from the main central tourist area. If you’re seeking an isolated resort hotel, this is a good choice. The facility at the hotel resort is good, the staff are friendly and hospitable. The landscape are well kept and villa room has high ceiling with stupendous bathroom / shower. Great resort for a luxurious quiet family get away.

The hotel arranged a free pick up from the airport. Upon arrival, the front desk gave a free upgrade to a suite. The room is quite spacious, very quiet in the morning and evening, with a small balcony. I went out to play in Banna for a day, and my clothes were often soaked. It would be nice to wash them and hang them on the balcony when I came back. The breakfast is relatively simple, especially for those of us who don't eat spicy food, the choices are narrower. But fried dough sticks, soy milk, egg and pickles are enough for us. There will be a kind of fruit every day, but the type is basically the same. In fact, it’s okay not to order breakfast. The restaurants around the hotel are open early. The hotel is very close to the Daxing Supermarket, turn left about 50 meters when you go out. The supermarket has all kinds of daily necessities, and the price is also approachable, highly recommended. The hotel is 500 meters away from the Gaozhuang Tourist Service Center, where you can take a direct train to the scenic spot. Before 7 o'clock in the morning, the front desk was locked with black lights and no one was there. This should be told to the guests in advance.
